Great village pub, plenty of off road parking, safe and secure for cars and motorcycles. Good Guinness, even better Madri and amazing Cheese and Onion rolls made fresh and on the day! Maybe have to start visiting more often and hopefully Cheese and Ham or Cheese and pickle may make an appearance. All joking aside great pub, pleasant team and a nice sized garden for enjoying the sun and summer in. Looking forward to visiting again with friends.

Awful customer service last night. I bought a round of drinks, put my pint on a table, turned around to watch the band, 10 seconds later the drink slid off the table and soaked my wife’s leg. I told the bar staff but they wouldn’t replace my drink, they told me I’d have to pay. 10 minutes later it happened to a ladies drink, only hers smashed on the floor. They wouldn’t replace hers either. Soaking wet tables which are not level are the pub’s issue, not the customer’s. After closer inspection we could clearly see this table was leaning at quite an angle.

Popped in for the first time. Friendly, unpretentious drinking pub. We had nice pints of Theakstons XB and Doombar. Rumours of Old Peculiar coming soon, so will be back again soon

Great evening with old school 80's DJ. No hassle good service at the bar. What more can I say?

We were a little confused here. Signs saying they serve food, but when we asked at the entrance the lady said we don't do food. If that's the case then take the signs down. Won't be returning.

Great pub. Had a party in their private function room. There was a lot of space and a private bar in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a good evening and pricing was also very good as well. There was some parking at the pub itself but you can park on the street close by if there is no space in the parking lot.
