Bar pub in Hinckley

“Myself and my partner came for the Tasting Menu at the weekend, myself choosing the vegan option. I have read mixed reviews so was not sure what I was expecting. But as soon as I tasted the first course, it was delicious and just got better as each course came. All the dishes was amazing and my favourite dish was the Vegetable Garden with almond mousse. My partner loved all the dishes too with him choosing pairing wines and I chose gin... which they have their own gin! My partner does not usually eat vegan food and even he said he would choose to try this option next time. Highly recommend to anyone!”

“I have had a take away from here before and it was good so decided to come here on a Friday night, rang up and booked table with no wait so good and lady on phone was nice. The place itself inside is clean nice with fire plave on the TVs, the only thing I would change is that it was a tad too bright inside for a late night meal. Food itself was absolutely amazing and came out reasonable quick and the service was good. This place is now my favourite place for Indian food and we were able to doggy bag left overs which I had the following day A++ on the food.”

“Great pub. Had a party in their private function room. There was a lot of space and a private bar in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a good evening and pricing was also very good as well. There was some parking at the pub itself but you can park on the street close by if there is no space in the parking lot.”

“Called in to a wonderful welcome from the new owners, amazing hospitality and the most fantastic Abbot Ale. One word of advice chaps, don't let your punters have too much free reign, you're the gaffers and you have to be known as the good guys in charge that way you'll be respected. Nick and Jon. “We were recommended the Red Cow by a friend who visits regularly. We didn’t have a starter as we’re not big eaters, but we like quality, and the food certainly delivered on taste, visual appeal and portion size. It is a warm, welcoming place with friendly and attentive staff. If I were picky, I’d have to say that the “Classic” cocktails failed to include actual classics, like Old Fashioneds, Gin Martinis, Ginlets etc. However, Julie took our direction and got the bar person to mix gin martinis to our specifications. They were great!”

“Dined here for the first time a week or so back and was so pleasantly surprised that we booked a table for the family for fathers day. Today was a fantastic experience. We were seated very quickly and served drinks straight away. Sophie and the other ladies made sure we had everything we needed. They were all very friendly and pleasant to deal with. Food, once again was incredible so hats off to the chef. A gem of a place for many reasons. Will definitely return.”
