Staff need to be re-trained, long wait no other people in the cafe but had to wait to be served. When i was served staff was slow no motivation, wished I went to Starbucks next door. Never again
This cafe serves the best coffee in the station and the only place where you get wonderful service. The manager Michaela creates a lovely environment for her team and the customers. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
Coffee here is nicely dialled in. Nice selection of sandwiches and pastries etc. Plus, any barista that pour latte art atop an Americano has my utmost respect!
Great café. Came here for a quick lunch after the Commonwealth Games and before I had to catch my train back home. Good, tasty food with quick service.
Had a mocha and an almond croissant whilst waiting for my train. Coffee was delicious, however the croissant seems like it had been there a while. Good tho
Are you a person who brags about expensive items you've bought? Well, you'll love Gourmet Coffee Bar. A flat white with "upgraded" Oatly milk (£1.80 a litre in your local Morrisons) is a eye-watering £3.45, 50p more than its cow's milk cousin. Are you incentivised to make the switch to non-dairy and slow down global warming? Rant over. The barista was lovely, warm and chatty. The La Marzocco and Victoria Arduino coffee setup, as mentioned, is scintillating. The result, awesome tasting coffee. Gourmet Coffee Bar, I somewhat forgive you.
