For the past ten years I have came here once or twice a year as it is quite a drive from my home. Usually I come with my parents and partner but today was just me and my little girl. The service was absolutely disgraceful. I was told before a hello very bluntly it’s a long wait. I thought ok that’s fine I will wait I’m here now. She then came back and barked go to that table I will clean it when I get chance. Five minutes later she came and took the empty plates and cups but still didn’t clean the table. I brought some books a toys for my daughter to keep her entertained (which got covered in bean juice!) and continued to wait a further half an hour without anyone coming to take my order not even offered a drink. I then overheard the chef come out and talk to a regular customer who came in after me and said to her we are out of hash browns mushrooms and potato’s so you won’t be able to have your usual breakfast. (Only regulars got notified of this I had been there over half an hour and not the decency to be told this information) I was also there for a breakfast so my daughter and I left. I may not of been coming often but you lost a ten year client for your terrible manners. I appreciate it’s was a busy day and the workers were under pressure but to come out make me feel welcome and I would of waited in peace. Possible just because I was a small party they didn’t care too much as when I’m part of a larger party they are like different people.

Really friendly, reasonable, and the food was lovely. Also an open wood burner which was perfect on a cold Sunday morning!

We came for the first time today for two full English breakfasts and a large pot of tea and it was delicious! Fabulous sized portions, fast service and the fire was on too, so very cosy for a very wet morning. At £16 for two you can’t fault it! The ladies would prefer cash payment, so if you can that would be handy but they do have the card machine too. We will definitely be back again, thank you!

Been coming here for years. The breakfast is always on point. Nice cosy little place. Service is always good. Food at decent prices. Definitely worth a visit.

Driven past many times, so I'm so glad I popped in. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Good choice on the menu. Very reasonable prices. Breakfast was very tasty and cooked to perfection. The open fire made it very comfy. Glad I did pop in. Will definitely be going in again. Would recommend.

Excellent breakfast and cup of tea, very reasonably priced. It was fairly busy and there was a little bit of a wait but the staff were friendly.

Went for breakfast with newborn baby. The staff were friendly and accomadating, checking that the heat was OK and even asking if it was OK to spray cleaning fluid nearby. Really thoughtful and kind staff. The breakfast was brilliant and amazing value for £7 which included full breakfast, toast and a huge pot of tea. I'd reccomend this place!

Horrible experience. No indication that they didn't have stock for the full menu. Was told when I sat down that I could only have a breakfast which I did not want as it was dinner time. They proceeded to wait an hour for my food after being asked twice what I wanted to order. There was no communication between staff at all. (The food itself was lovely, just the overall experience was not so nice). When food was finally delivered the waitress proceeded to spill a pot of milk all over me, with no apology just proceeded to sloppily mop up the mess with kitchen roll and left the milk soaked paper towel on the table when she left. Had to eat my food covered in milk, with milk left on both table and floor. Definitely not coming back here anytime soon. I did feel sorry for the one waitress she was lovely very kind and polite, but unfortunately the experience has left a negative mark on me.

The website states that this cafe is wheelchair accessible, which is not true. We arrived for breakfast to find a steep step. Confused, my husband went in to see if there was another entrance and a member of staff told him “yes it’s wheelchair accessible, there’s only one step” So we were turned away. Couldn’t believe the ignorance!
