Popped in yesterday for a coffee for the first time and the service was amazing, quick and efficient and the young lady behind the counter was very polite and friendly, will definitely be back and recommend anyone to here lovely coffee also
Always a nice spot for a quick coffee and chat. Love the chocolate avocado cake x some drinks are hit and miss depending on the barista but they're all so friendly and quick to accomodate any issues you have. I need to try their brunch next time!
Very special place. Was the first place I came across courgette cake & beetroot chocolate cake many moons ago & their teas are second to none. Not often you go somewhere where eople enter their teas for competitions and win.
Excellent breakfast spot. We had delicious poached eggs on avocado toast with Hollandaise sauce. Lovely spot and vibes. Great friendly staff!
Hadn't been here for years but it's still just as good as ever! Huge selection of interesting teas and good coffees/hot chocolates too. But the best bit is definitely the cakes! The vegan chocolate avocado cake was delicious, as was the carrot cake. Highly recommended after a nice walk in the park!
Felt as if i was taking the young lady assistants time with my presence. We ordered 2 teas and when it arrived my wife was asked if she knew what she was doing and should the assistant explain the process. Thankfully after 63 years my wife is capable of pouring a cup of tea without the aid of an egg timer. Strange what skills you pick up as you get older.
In the post office I said to myself ‘all I need now is a cup of tea.’ Lo & behold this understated cafe is right next door! Virtual perfection as you can see. A slice of lemon, leaf tea in a pot, an egg timer for the perfect brew & a piece of polenta cake!
Had a lovely cream tea this afternoon my Daughters treated us I've had cream teas before . But this really this was the best . Lovely cake, sandwiches really fresh. There was fruit and a small salad as well. Scones where gorgeous lovely jam and cream couldn't eat it all they gave us little box's to take cakes home. ,
Visited Waterloo tea rooms for lunch and a drink. There was plenty on seating on arrival but it got busy around prime lunch time. Staff we very welcoming and were happy to help me you select a 'posh' tea. Ordered chicken in a ciabatta it was fresh and very delicious, reasonably priced. Also ordered coffee here that was also very well presented and tasted great. Would recommend to visit here for a drink or for a meal. Parking out side is free and there is a park that is a pleasant walk.
Great sandwich (I'm not a vegan, but loved the vegan mushroom on brioche bun) and everyone did great with COVID social distancing. Great spot near the park.
