Just loved my visit at Morrisons, Cardiff Bay today. Had everything I wanted and more. Enjoyed a family catch up with a coffee and tea cakes before doing a big shop. So much so I was in the store for 3hrs 30mins. My fear is the parking limit outside in the store car park was 3hrs which I breached inadvertently. I do so hope I won’t get a parking penalty even though I suspect that that enforcement is conducted by a third party.
Morrison’s may not have white table cloths but my service today was 5 star. Seren just made my day. Helpful, positive, polite and knew how to help and support in a really professional way. She is a real asset! I entered feeling miserable and left after enjoying breakfast exactly cooked as I’d requested (and on a hot plate no less) but it was Seren’s smile and perkiness that lifted my spirits no end! Thank you
Morrison's cafe could be so much better than it currently is. The food has always been good but the cafe itself is sadly a bit run down and always in need of a clean. It needs better management, and a full time cleaner.
absolutely disgusting, trays were dirty, teapots were dirty everything seemed grubby. food came out all luke warm and mostly over cooked so dry... missing items from breakfast wasnt told when food arrived, mentioned this to staff and with no appology i was told that i had had an extra hash brown though????? they did bring my black pudding out, luke warm and dry. Will not return and would advise anyone to give it a miss.... Worst breakfast ever and a combined cost of +£16 for 2 im shocked beyond words
Used to be cheap and cheerful with decent food. Now it’s over priced, poorly cooked and poorly staffed. Avoid go to Asda
Understaffed, under managed, dirty and very poor My breakfast took 25 minutes, despite the cafe being at 20 per cent capacity. It arrived incomplete and when I raised this I was told to keep it and the missing bacon would be brought out, it was placed on my table and the server said " there you go " , no apology. No china cups only paper as the pot wash was backed up. Cutlery dirty, floors dirty.... see photos, old, old dirt! Dirty blue clothes used to partially clean tables, NO SPRAY SANITISER being used. Overall it was deplorable.
Great food, reasonably priced with quick service. A clean restaurant with a good amount of seating. The menu is good and caters for kids too. Overall very good.
This cafe is open early enough to catch a cooked breakfast on a late morning shift. The quality of the breakfast, at least what I had, is great. Tasty and full of flavour. The staff are wonderful and very helpful but the computerised ordering system, while a good idea, is poorly executed. I got the impression that I had to use it and if this is the case, there will be queues aplenty. That's not enough to lose a star though. Mind you, the price almost is. The breakfast sint cheap. It's expensive enough to keep my arteries relatively clear for a little while yet since I can't afford to come here often.
