We had brunch in this place twice during our 3-days stay in Cardiff! It was so delicious and for my friend, who is a celiac, there were also fantastic options. Fast and friendly service and a cozy atmosphere. 1000% recommend!!
Very friendly team, excellent food - interesting menu! - wasn’t so much a fan of the coffee, as the Americano was too watered down in flavour. Others might disagree! I prefer stronger tasting black coffees.

First time visiting.came with a friend we Had breakfast which was amazing. Girls were very polite and helpful. Well done to the chef. Will definitely recommend and visit again
Nice little brunch diner in the heart of Pontcanna. Stopped for lunch, very busy but able to seat most customers. Tables inside and outside with a rear garden too. Quite cosy inside but pleasant and relaxed. Staff are friendly and helpful, it was a busy lunchtime so meals were a little slow arriving but I wasn't bothered by it. Dishes looked good and tasted great. Toasted steak sandwich, beans on toast and mushroom soup were all excellent. £30 for three was good value and our lunch was enjoyable. Would definitely recommend Milk &Sugar.
A café with personal good service. Kindly offered half size dishes for our children. Even the coffee was amazing. We will be back.
Great scrambled eggs on toast and Darjeeling tea. Friendly and prompt service with tasteful background music at just the right volume. Will come again.
We tried the juice and smoothies with a cookie but there was plenty more on offer at this lovely location. We will definitely return to try some of the other offerings and there is certainly a lot on offer from all of the food and drink places along this street. Well worth a visit.
What a find! Fabulous salad (which you personalise to your own taste with multiple options), beautifully presented and very reasonably priced. Would have loved to also be able to order some fresh bread to go with it, which they don’t offer, but will definitely be coming again and I loved that there were multiple outdoor tables available, especially as the weather was lovely. The staff were also very friendly, helpful & welcoming, which for me is just as important as the quality of the food. Milk & Sugar is a fantastic addition to Pontcanna and I highly recommend it. :)
