Have thought long and hard about leaving a bad review for a small local business. I bought a salad for 9 quid. It was not much bigger than a side salad. It was vegetables and pasta. The mark up on this would have been a lot. When I asked the guy if this was a normal size he said - ‘yeah there’s quite a lot in there.’ I’m sorry but you should know your metrics and not guess what’s fair - making it right wouldn’t have cost a lot. I felt dismissed and insignificant as a customer. Why would I come back again. Shame as we are a local family.

Traditional lobscouse with toast seems like a normal dish but this was the first time i have Welsh cuisine. Lobscouse taste great and the beef in it was very tender, with the crunchy toast it was amazing. The chicken ciabatta was tasty with the sauce too it was a pity for the chicken was a bit rough(i prefer thigh than breast). The little pastry that i didnt know the name was crunchy and buttery with lightly touch of cinnamon match perfectly with the cappuccino! Love it!

I love this place!! Super cute and amazing salad. My go-to order is the small salad which is £8.5. Which I think the portion is pretty much. They always have nice selection of salad, taste so good!! 100% recommend

Awful service. Decided to start making our coffees after we had already been served food. Ordered a large salad which consisted of about 2 leaves.

It was less painful to walk away without a coffee than watch them cluck around without the foggiest of how to use their coffee machine. Also, no vegan options in 2022? Be real.

Wonderful hidden gem! They sell great products, including traditional Welsh laverbread. The staff is also very friendly!

The female staff member was rude and the menu is eye wateringly expensive for very standard produce (£8 for a basket of chips). Even as a Londoner those prices wouldn’t fly. Service was slow. 30 minutes without any approach from the waiter while we had empty glasses, and on visiting the bar the female staff member announced the that they had closed orders at 9.15. It was 9.20.

Coffee was good. Told the staff where I was sat when I ordered but I still had to get up and show my face at the counter to get my coffee brought over. Female staff member has no idea why manners are. Ordered the scrambled eggs w chilli and avo, when the food arrived it was without the chilli. Asked at the counter and the girl acknowledged the fault in a way that told me she knew the meal wasn’t complete. She then says she would have to find the single bottle of sirarcha and bring it over - no apology given. There is no way they can justify the price of the food here when the general customer experience is so bad. This was my first and only visit.
