   Visited Barry town and found not a lot of options for vegans bar your usual chains like greggs, costa etc. But I'd much rather support independent local businesses and like to seat to eat. Luckily we came across Chello's! Staff were friendly and helpful, they let us add substitute the things on the veggie breakfast we couldn't have (eggs). Food was good and very good value for money. Would visit again if in Barry town.

   Gorgeous place, gorgeous interior, delicious food. I had a White Bueno Milkshake, & it was genuinely the best milkshake I've ever had. I don't know how this place doesn't have more customers. The cupcakes looked gorgeous, tasted great too! The piping in particular caught my eye; it looked so perfect. You HAVE to come here.

   Great traditional cafe with, up market feel. Friendly service, if a little slow. Traditional menu with everything you would need. Decor is very pleasant and simple. The cafe and facilities are lovely and clean. A good option if you're looking for a non chain alternative.

   Quaint cafe almost hidden away Toasted sandwich with ham and cheese was served with coleslaw and salad very good value. Hot chocolate nice and coffee good. Lots of little nooks to sit in good place for couples or a few friends. Worth a visit if in Barry. Love your local guide-M❤️ Follow or like me if helpful

   Wow what can I say! Picked Chellos for a Baby shower, So glad we did! Amazing range of cupcakes, scones with cream and jam and a lovely selection of sandwiches. Vegetarians had a separate tray. Homemade Scotch eggs are to die for. Lovely sweet strawberries with a chocolate dip. Pots of tea and coffee. Lovely service and friendly staff. Get booking guys!
