   I had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which made the whole visit feel comfortable and relaxed. The food was absolutely outstanding – full of flavour, beautifully presented and definitely worth every penny. The atmosphere was just perfect too: warm, inviting and full of positive energy. Altogether, it created the ideal setting for a memorable visit. We also came back on a Saturday night and the entertainment they had was amazing, the room was filled and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great service, delicious food and a fantastic overall experience!

   I recently visited The Gaer Inn Pub and I was really impressed! The staff were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly, which made the whole experience feel comfortable and enjoyable.    We were in Newport to watch the cycling and found this great local pub. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. Nice atmosphere and very clean. Plenty of choice on the menu and great food. If we are ever back in the area we will definitely visit again.

   Nice garden, good food and plenty of parking. The only thing I didn't understand was the separate menu for the garden... you are not allowed to have plates there , so they are serving you the food in containers, which is completely fine...so what is the issue to serve you half of the food in them and they limit the choice of the meals... so as I didn't like anything in the "special menu" I couldn't sit in the garden, no sensible reasoning behind it.

   If i could give a no star rating i would. Pre ordered our meals for mothers day lunch, waited over an hour for the starters. Waited another 30+ minutes, i asked how long for the main meals. The vegetarian meal was burnt. 3 hours for 2 courses. We didn't stay for the puddings.

   Went for a Sunday lunch, and the pub was very quiet. Really don't understand why though, because the food was absolutely delicious, and the lady who looked after us was very friendly. We'll definitely be going back on another occasion for another meal.
