   We went to this wonderful pub for our first time eating there and it was absolutely superb in every aspect. The atmosphere was warm welcoming but spacious enough to have a nice intimate night together talking and eating some fantastic food. The menu was really wonderful and although we very often struggle to find a place that suits us both with multiple options on this occasion there was plentiful choice of dishes were both found appealing. When the food arrived which didn't take long it even exceeded our hopes and expectations. The mixed grill was absolutely incredible with generous portions of all meats which were all top quality and cooked to perfection. It was by far and away the best mixed grill either of us have ever had and was incredible value too when compared to the prices of all the others of which none have ever compare to this one. I ordered the blue cheese burger which was tweaked to my taste and was so amazingly good both in terms of taste and quality and the level of perfection to which it was cooked and served. All of this and at prices that are no more than you would pay for the very much inferior versions of the same thing in other establishments. The staff were also friendly and polite and very helpful when ordering and serving the food which also to make our visit as lovely as it was. We cannot recommend this place highly enough to anyone else who is considering giving it a try and we definitely won't be long before we return ourselves.    Came here this evening. Wow What can I say? Had Pizza and 3 small plates, absolutely spot on. What I did love is the warm welcome I got when coming in from Jess. It’s not often I visit M&B pubs but this one- an amazing vibe! Even dig friendly also. Thanks guys! Appreciate the effort made!

   What a cracking visit! Rob was an absolute legend – his witty banter had us laughing from the moment we walked in. Friendly, sharp, and full of charm, he brings real character to the place. The pints were top-tier – perfectly poured and ice-cold. You can tell they care about quality here. And the food? Absolutely fantastic – piping hot, full of flavour, and hit the spot perfectly. Great atmosphere, excellent service, and a real credit to Rob for making it such a memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

   Food was average, and the place had an old stale smell about it. There were no craft non alcoholic beer options - only Peroni and Heineken. However the staff were very friendly and the alcohol options were decent.

   We went there with our nervous dog and they found us a table in a corner which was perfect. Friendly staff and my fish and chips was delicious and huge serving for £9 including a pint of beer. Highly recommend.

   Rush decision for food but over all a decent one. Arrived late, not long before food service finished (sorry about that) but over all a good experience food was quick and service was decent.    Nice pub with a well seated back garden. Large screens inside for events. And a wide choice of beers with pipes that appeared to be cleaned regularly. Might go back and try the food. Only down point was there was no fans to circulate the air on a very hot day.

   Great pub with a really nice beer garden, QR ordering makes it nice and easy, lovely food, great beer, great atmosphere and really nice staff (think his name was Steve, a credit to you). Definitely where we're heading next time we visit Cardiff, highly recommend.
