   Sunday roast is one of the best in Cardiff. It is cooked so well, traditional and perfectly cooked with meat so tender and delicious gravy. Portion sizes were generous and consistently spot on. Brought my adult daughter for the first time and she is already talking about bringing her friends here.Thanks so much.

   I live close by and this pub is one of my locals. It’s very good but I won’t be returning too often because they allow people use e-cigarettes inside even though it’s against the law in Wales. From Wednesday to Sunday there’s a Pizza Bar in the large, attractive beer garden which appears to be very good value for money.

   Went to try the new smoke house meals, brilliant, the st Louis rib and brisket went down very well. It was a Thursday, so had the added advantage of the quiz afterwards. Great fun. Loved the Wye valley Voodoo beer

   My absolute favourite pub by far, lovely garden and great staff. The new food menu by Smokey Dave (smokeydave24 on instagram) is absolutely sensational. I have never had ribs like this before, everything is homemade (no pre-made burgers) and all the meats are smoked for hours giving it such a luscious flavour. Dave’s homemade BBQ sauce is the best I’ve ever had. Definitely a MUST TRY!

   Went here for a pint with a friend but the smell of the outdoor pizza oven persuaded us to stay for food. The pizza was delicious, one of the best I've had! Haven't been here in ages, so was pleasantly surprised to see how much it had changed. Lovely garden out the back, plenty of sun spots and shaded areas. All the staff were super nice and got through the queues quickly. Will 100% be back, thank you!
