Quiet busy for early on in the day. Went for lunch during the break at the cricket and ordered the blazing blue burger. Great food and fast efficient service. Pub is lively with a great selection of drinks available and nice atmosphere

Nice little chain pub not a million miles away from the center of Cardiff, parking is free outside and you can walk into town from here quite easily Staff and the other patrons were friendly but have to say the food was not very good to be honest I had the fish and chips and although the chips were nice the fish was really poorly fried and ruined the meal, the batter was not crispy more soggy and fell apart in a sweaty way rather than the crispy fried delight that I was expecting. Interior was nice and I even found a plug for my phone charger, would pop in for a drink but wouldn't recommend eating here

We stayed at the Beverley for one night, we came to Cardiff to see Sting in concert at the Castle. We booked well in advance and chose The Beverley because of the location and a reasonable price for a bed and breakfast. It didn't disappoint. We had a nice double room, which was clean and well equipped with a lovely walk-in shower. The breakfast was good too. We were fortunate to park in the car park at the rear, which was secured at night with a hefty steel gate. The Beverley is on Cathedral Road, which is lovely. There are homes dating back to when Cardiff was the richest port in the world. The city centre is less than a mile away. You can walk in easily and walk back safely. We love Cardiff, and this weekend was amazing. We look forward to returning soon.

Had a great meal at The Beverley Hotel! The food offers excellent value for money, the service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We tried both the Classic Mixed Grill and the Mega Mixed Grill — both were delicious and well-cooked. The Classic is perfect if you're after a solid meal, but if you're really hungry, the Mega definitely lives up to its name! I've included a photo of both for comparison. Highly recommend if you're in the area and fancy a satisfying meal.

We eat here quite regularly and have yet to have a bad experience. Food is always hot and fresh, never had a long wait and if there is a wait have always been informed prior to ordering. Staff are always efficient, friendly and helpful. Facilities are always clean

I stayed here for 3 nights and had breakfast, dinner and drinks here each night Room: great. Spacious, homely, very comfortable and very clean. A great wee bathroom with a power shower and daily cleaning. 10/10 for what you pay for Food and drinks: Higher quality than expected! Reasonable pricing and great locally sourced meats. Something to fit all, adults and children alike. Drinks are fine. Service : absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, very helpful and patient. Top drawer

I am sorry but I cannot say The Beverley is a hotel, it is HOME in Cardiff. The staff is amazing, helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean. The food at the bar/restaurant is very delicious. I look forward to be back here.

Easily my worst experience eating out since Covid. I ordered on the app and ended up waiting over 20 mins for drinks, to the point I went and got my own drinks from the almost empty bar. Then waited over an hour for food while people around me got their order first, even after they arrived after me. When I questioned why, I was told they were busy but it definitely wasn’t from people in the bar. They had a constant stream of delivery orders but if they cant cope with their guests at venue they should switch this off. The food arrived and it was cold and incorrect. Awful experience. Absolutely no positives on this visit.
