Popped in for a pint this afternoon and the atmosphere was fantastic! I was welcomed by a smiling face behind the bar as soon as I walked in through the door. Even though the pub was a little busy, the service was quick. I will definitely be returning.
Called on a Saturday evening. Pub really lively and bouncing with karaoke on. Has been done out since I last visited and now looks great inside.
A proper pub to visit when in the area. It’s a place of way back when and today. The punters, staff, and everyone else who drinks here. Cleanest pint (and more) 100%. Paul, Jo… thank you. Chelsea and Holly part of the entertaining family. Julien, Debby and mum are outstanding too. Oh and not forgetting Geoff, and blue, grey, green eyes…. She’s my favourite. Guy if you fancy a night or three here I promise you won’t be disappointed. So so welcoming, can’t wait for the next time.
We've discovered this pub having moved back to the area after many years away. The staff are outstanding, very welcoming and offer great customer service in a professional but informal manner. There's a great mix of people here and it's a very positive, friendly atmosphere. We pop in here regularly now and it's refreshing to find a dog friendly pub. Drinks are always nicely presented with care and attention and we always look forward to popping in. This is a lovely, warm, cosy and exceptional pub. Thanks to all involved

Definitely deserves the name of The Canton, the pure heart of the area!! Paul was very accommodating, with a pool table and plentiful shots available! Do not miss out!
