1. Erasmus In Cardiff ★★★☆☆

   Unfortunately the new location is not great, it's loud and lacking character. It's clearly geared up to be a restaurant unit, too bright to be a pub. It feels like neither a pub/bar, nor a cafe and it's too loud. Someone described it as a canteen and I think that's fair, table layout is certainly canteenesque. Thr old place was full of character and good vibes and one could order food from the Goodsheds which was an excellent bonus. This is very much missed. I went to the new place with friends and none of us found it friendly or welcoming. None of the usual staff members or owners (or Darcy) were there and new staff mmbers were abrupt, rushed and frankly rude. Refused to take a photo, said they'd come back, never did. Rushed us several times because they had another booking, nobody arrived. We asked if we could move tables after our booking time ended, told no even though there were multiple free tables with no reservation signs and nobody waiting to be seated. My friend on arrival rudely questioned about a booking name. Overall, a complete lack of positive, friendly approach and vibe that we loved so much about Craft. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down unfortunately. We will not be in any rush to return.

   First time here with friends. Menus are all available via qr codes. There's a bell on the table then to signal your ready to bar staff and over they come. Had some lovely cider brewed in rum barrels, all draft ciders are still and at room temp, gorgeous. Other fizzy bottled cider is available and alcohol free drinks too. Games are available to play, so cards was our chosen games, couple of ciders later, home time. Didn't try food place just outside but believe you can bring it in. Very dog friendly, great service.

   Absolutely great place. The beers on tap are always changing so there is always something new to try. They have lots of other drinks too including amazing coffee. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much trouble. They don't do food as such but have snacks and best of all they don't mind you taking in your own food and as Asda is so close a picky dinner is always a good option. I love the fact they allow dogs in, make for such a nice and relaxed atmosphere.

   Craft Republic have moved to new larger venue overlooking the dock. I had a Crafty Devil - Cardiff in the Sun, and a Pollys - Spur, both excellent kegs. Most recommended, approx 40mins from Cardiff on the train.

   Loved this place it was so relaxing and a good choice of beers. The wallpaper in the toilets were funky. The table service took a bit of getting used to which is probably why the beers are slightly on the expensive side. You can bring your own food in too.

   Craft republic has a really nice atmosphere inside and drinks were great, tried some of the alcohol free cocktails and would highly recommend. Really friendly staff made us feel welcome and were very patient with my dog who can be nervous at times. Will definitely go again!

   Excellent place to go for drinks, good selection of Craft Ales, Wines, Cocktails and Spirits. Not a cheap place to drink, prices are more like city prices. But don't let that put you off. They have table service which makes it so much more enjoyable than trying to fight at the bar to place an order. The staff are all fantastic and knowledgeable about the drinks. You can also buy drinks to take home with you. As this place is also part of the Good Sheds you can buy your food their and take it in with you, they don't mind. If you see Darcey the dog there say hello she lives to be patted. Would highly recommend drinking here.
