The BBQ and soul food was stunning. There is so much flavour. We had the sharing board, so we had quite a variety. More than enough food for 2. The only disappointment was there were no orange slices for the Blue moon beer. The staff were friendly. It did take me a while to get a booking sorted before we got there. Can't wait to go again.

We’ve just been to the six bells for the first time. One of the best Sunday roasts we’ve ever had. Dog friendly restaurant so perfect place for after a long Sunday walk. Staff were all really lovely and attentive. Excellent food at an excellent price for its quality!

An incredible lunch today, food was fantastic, service was excellent, prompt and attentive, without being overbearing, never rushed and the FOH team went above and beyond. How they are delivering food of this quality, cooking technique, proficiency, and plating skills at the price point is just bonkers!!. Anyway, don't listen to me, just go and experience for yourselves, you can thank me later ;-)

We found this place today on the off chance and wow, we loved it! So cosy and warm with the fire. The food was incredible, and really well presented. The ladies serving couldn't do enough for us, super friendly and chatty. They welcomed my dog and they all made a fuss of him and gave him treats and water ❤️. We will definitely be coming back here for food while we explore the surrounding area with the church and castle next to it.

Great local pub with great food . Found the pub via Google and Trip Adviser, so booked a table for two and took a short drive up to the pub. Food was really good and we had the option of eating it in the pub or the set dining area. Portions are quite big! My main which was a chicken burger was so big i wish i did not had a starter. I would give this place 5 stars. A local gem!

FURTHER UPDATE: THIS PUB HAS REOPENED UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT!!! HURRAH!!! UPDATE: SADLY, THIS PLACE HAS CLOSED. Shocked and stunned by the quality on offer here, especially a seafood linguine packed with mussels, scallops, prawns both large and small, samphire and even fish roe in a cream sauce. Coleslaw accompanying a no-bun burger boasted a welcome hint of lime. These cheaper mains are £15; Glamorgan brewery ales on tap; we were absolutely stuffed. A cut above the norm—why was it empty at 1:45 on a Saturday afternoon though?
