   I ordered cod and chips didn't wait long friendly staff however it arrived and to be honest it wasn't very hot and I felt the cod wasn't cooked properly quite crunchy. I left and as soon as I got home I was violently sick and the next day I was extremely ill and spent the whole day in bed and suffering sickness and diarrhoea never felt so ill. I think I will give the food a miss in future

   Myself and my partner called in before we headed home to grab a bite to eat & what a warm welcome we received upon arrival! Emma the Land lady went above and beyond for us finding us a suitable table for ourselves and the little one, keeping her occupied with colouring pads and pencils. The food was a wide variety of choice and it arrived quickly and the temperature was piping hot with all of the meals. Our server was polite and nothing was to much trouble, overall lovely experience and will definitely keep this place in mind as a go to!

   I had the steak & ale pie, it was delicious! The bar staff were lovely and suggested we come back for karaoke on the Saturday, which we did and we had a great night!
