Magnificent team from the receptionist right through to the dentist and the dental nurse Put my mind at ease explained everything thoroughly sorted out my pain. I didn’t feel rushed. I felt very listened to and came away extremely happy.
I have been a patient at this dental practice for several years, but I was very disappointed with the recent care I received. I attended with a severe toothache that persisted for over two weeks. Instead of investigating the underlying cause, the issue was attributed to teeth grinding, and I was advised to use a guard. At no point was there a clear treatment plan or reassurance regarding the next steps. Given the ongoing pain, I sought a second opinion from another dentist. Following a more thorough examination and additional scans, the root cause was identified as a wisdom tooth problem, which had been overlooked. This left me feeling that my concerns were not taken seriously and that further investigation was not pursued when it should have been. As a long-standing patient, I expected a higher standard of care and a more proactive approach to diagnosis and treatment. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to reconsider my confidence in the practice.
I was referred on the NHS to Gorse Covert by my dentist for an extraction and I was really impressed, the surgeon and nurse were great and the procedure went well. Special thanks though to Rebecca on reception who communicated with the surgeon and myself in advance of the procedure, seemed to know more than most dentists I've met, reassured me effectively and even got me a cancellation two weeks before my original date. Her experience and attitude made such a difference in a situation I found difficult.

I had impacted wisdom tooth surgery at Gorse Covert Dental, and the experience was fantastic. The receptionists were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel at ease from the start. Dr. Rahul Maheshwari is truly talented and skilled, you can tell he loves his work, which is so reassuring as a patient. He explained every step of the procedure clearly and was happy to answer any questions I had. The procedure was also quick and easy and has comforted me throughout. The dental assistant was also great, providing thorough guidance on the recovery process and what to expect. Overall, a highly professional and caring team, thank you so much!
Took mum along for a referral appointment today. Shes quite frail now and was a little nervous. Everyone was so efficient, caring and helpful towards mum. We felt all the staff tried very hard to accommodate mum's needs. The procedure was very quick and clear aftercare instructions given. One small observation, yellow markings for disabled parking bay are hard to see. Not sure who owns the car park but a top up of yellow paint would be good.
I was referred here for Oral Surgery by my own dentist. I wasn't looking forward to the treatment, but very pleased they managed to get me an appointment within 24hrs. Everybody I saw was so kind, and helpful especially the dental nurse. The dentist, Nilesh is a magician with the anaesthetic needle, I didn't even realise he'd begun the treatment! Thank you.
I was worried about having a wisdom tooth removed. I had no need to worry. All went smoothly and so quickly I didn’t actually realise the tooth had been removed. All the staff, nurses and receptionists and of course the dentist were delightful, explained the procedure and put me at my ease. I recommend them. What’s more even my own regular dentist also recommended them. Praise indeed. Thank you Nilesh and the team.
I was referred to the practice for a wisdom tooth extraction. I am generally quite nervous at the dentist, but was particularly nervous about this procedure as the tooth was cracked and I’d convinced myself it was going to be a long and painful process. However, the dentist and the nurse put me at ease, and even when I got upset and panicked they were kind and helpful, helping me calm down. I wasn’t made to feel embarrassed or silly, and I really appreciated their kindness. I’m now thinking of switching to the practice as my primary dentist if possible as my experience was so positive.
