   Great experience and service from James and the team at Automotive Cardiff. I had a problem with my wiper blades right before the bank holiday, and was quite stressed as I needed to drive up to Scotland on the Tuesday. Brought the car in, James understood my short timeframe, diagnosed my problem right away, and offered a quick fix to last a few weeks that would get me back on the road. He also gave me a quote to replace the part, confirming with the supplier that they could get it and do it the next day (Friday) before the long weekend. I decided to get the part replaced and sort the issue for good. They had it done by the next afternoon and very kindly also topped up my oil, fixed something with my battery, and fixed a windscreen washer leak at no extra charge. Truly went above and beyond for me, even though I'm not local and sadly won't be able to be a repeat customer. Everyone was really friendly and easygoing, I felt really well looked after and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and reliable mechanics in Cardiff. Big thanks to the team for getting me back on the road – I made it up to Scotland no issues!

   My review has been very much overdue. I was introduced to James when a vehicle that I have since sold developed a huge fault with the transmission. My E60 BMW 525D auto (ZF6HP19 Transmission), the Transmission Control Module had cooked itself and had also damaged clutch packs inside the Transmission. James explained and showed me everything, our heads under the car and looking at what seemed to be an engineering nightmare, but James was cool. "Yep we'll sort it", as simple as that. That car gone and many have taken its place over the years, Mercedes, Volvo, Saab, Volkswagen and each time James has been the go to service, repair and diagnose every single time. What you'll get at Automotive Cardiff is straight forward and honest service with absolutely transparent pricing... No fluff, no bullshit. The combined knowledge and experience of the team is unparalleled. You won't get cheap parts either, I can wholeheartedly assure you that the replacement components will either be original equipment manufactured or better, whether that is Bosch, Febi, TRW, ATE, Lemförder and so on so forth. Recently the timing belt and water pump was replaced on my other half's Mercedes A180cdi (1.5 Renault diesel in a pretty frock), the price was spot on and done in no time. To everyone at Automotive Cardiff, thank you so much. I remember it all starting from humble beginnings and what a place it has now become. And to anybody reading this, don't waste your time, make the call, get booked it and embrace what we all long for, an honest, affordable garage that won't bullshit you and try and squeeze an inch on you. Here's to many more years of fixing whatever lemon I get hold of next.

   Really great garage! The guys are decent and honest. Communication is brilliant. Prices are very reasonable. Also get the genuine feeling that they aren't ripping you off at all, even if you don't know lots about cars. My girlfriend visited first and we'll go back for everything now with our two cars, also recommending to our friends/family in Cardiff too!
