My first time using this garage and will be the first place I call next time! Had a problem with my brakes and was recommended Southgate by another local. They fit me in for the next day over the phone with great efficiency and customer service. The establishment was really well run with a lovely waiting area also. The problem was diagnosed, fixed and well communicated to me. All the boxes ticked for me with honesty, efficiency and reasonable pricing. This is what I have been look for! Thank You.

My friendly and helpful neighborhood Garage. From the receptionist to the mechanics, all great folks there. I'm a trained mechanic myself (only fix my cars nowadays), but sometimes there are things I can't do myself (MOT, tires... Stuff like that). They were always able to schedule me in during my slow hours, so I can wait for minor work to be done, and collect the car right after. There is a cozy and heated waiting area on site, where you can wait/or work while they fix your car. During MOT, the mechanic showed me where the issue was, and gave me some other pointers. Should I ever have a bigger issue, which i won't able to fix myself, Southgate Garage will be the place I go! I feel that they are knowledgeable, professional, friendly and offer good work for a good value.
I have taken my car to Southgate Garage Llantrisant for many years now and can truly say I would not take my car elsewhere. The service from start to finish is excellent. The reception staff are really friendly, you can see they genuinely care about their customers. The mechanics are honest, explain everything and do a fantastic job each time at a very fair price. I've been a customer of this garage for 20 years. The mark of an excellent automotive repair business is the way they deal with problems. Graham and his team have always pulled out the stops for me to fix things quickly when I needed it "yesterday". They are a member of the good garage scheme, and it shows. You are likely to be offered a way to save money when work is needed, a welcome change from those garages that invent something to fix! Accepts cards and cash, but not American Express!
I booked my wife's Suzuki Swift to have its 1 year service with the garage through Katie. I can not recommend the service and professional customer service enough. The car was dropped off at 9am and I was told that all the relevant parts needed had arrived a few days before. The car was ready by 11am. Service book stamped and all relevant receipts and documents left in the car. Paid by card and was over the moon to liaise with Katie to have the job done. Thank you Katie and Southgate Garage.
Great service, friendly folks. Booked for a cam belt and full service. Very thorough and over £100 cheaper than main dealer pricing! Car feels great to drive again.
