Great customer service and attention to detail . I was served by the manager and had 5* service . He showed me the different alternative items and advised me on what was best for my needs. I would highly recommend this branch of screwfix , it’s the best one I’ve been to .
Very good Staff Freindly and Helping I Bought an Erbauer set and they even helped me with the App the get a further reduction I've been dealing with this Birkby store for a couple of years they always put you first as a customer will continue shopping with em simple.
My husband and I love this shop. The system of browsing through the catalogues works as well, as it did when Argos had the same system, but a lot better. The staff are always helpful and courteous and it's a wonderful bonus to have a car park nearby too. What we particularly love about Screwfix is that unlike B&Q, the staff are readily at hand and are pleasant. They are knowledgeable about their products and always willing to go the extra mile. The times we have to visit B&Q, fills us with dread because we know we are likely to not be able to find the correct aisle, or the right person to direct us to the right place. Of course B&Q sell a larger variety of products, but Screwfix's product range is also quite extensive and serves our needs. If like us, you are fed up with the poor service at B&Q and are not after gardening products, then you may be pleasantly surprised that Screwfix is a handy alternative, if not a fantastic one. But please don't take our parking space.
To be fair, the only bad experience I've ever had with Screwfix. Tried to return an item approx a week after buying, size didn't quite match description so needed something else, never used, never even made it out of the car boot. Item didn't have a barcode on it when i bought it. The manager came over and told me refund not possible without a barcode and just walked off. Went to a different Screwfix branch and the item was refunded without any issues by referring to my order details and the product code and checking against the same items in stock.
Staff here are amazing, always friendly, efficient service. If they don't have what you need they're happy to have a quick Google to find another store/company who do. Never had a problem with next day items. Much more convenient than Leeds Rd or Lockwood as the Beck road area is pretty quiet throughout the day.

Stock levels poor, next day delivery took 4 days so I told them to cancel it but apparently I have to wait for it to arrive then return it. I use to spend about £600 per month here but now I find things elsewhere.
Bought fence paint on-line, for collection from the Huddersfield Beck Road store. Very quick turn round and friendly efficient staff in the store. Returned a couple of days later for more supplies and the service was also excellent. Highly recommended
