    I would love to give a higher rating to Simpson Millar, and I know it is not just down to them and also RPS, but the amount of time this has taken is ridiculous. Since March I have had no contact from SM and it took me calling in November 24 to get this moving along, making a complaint and complaining to RPS to receive my payment in January 25 when this began in Jan 21. Had I known I could have gone through RPS and dealt with them directly I would have. I'm still grateful to SM for getting there eventually though

    Would highly recommend. Being 1 of 1000’s of employees who faced redundancy during covid I wasn’t expecting much in terms of compensation that wasn’t already deemed by the government. However I was pleasantly surprised with what I received this week. Great communication, stress-free process and professional through out.

    Buying/selling house- Got emailed 3 different names before getting name correct even after correcting them each time, got the wrong number of the house, asking for documents I had already sent, then auto emailed that my solicitor had left the company, no correspondence since with no alternative than to cancel and find another solicitor. The Switchboard staff are lovely put can do nothing apart from take your name and email address. Got some refund and had to chase the rest. Delayed the process so much looks like I have lost the house and my buyer. Decided to go online for a quick seamless process. You can't be seriously be charging for such service?! How wrong was I!

    Once the Judgement was made. There was regular contact made by Simpson Millar and my compensation was paid to me within days after confirming my details. Only negative was we had to wait nearly 3 years for our judgment compared to other groups who were resolved much quicker and Simpson Millar we’re not able/couldn’t explain why we had to wait longer. I assume due to data protection they couldn’t go into detail but it left many of us frustrated with the lack of understanding as to why

    Shocking service. I had my own representation for some time now have to represent myself which is fine and less hassle. However. My solictor was right. These people are a joke. She had issues getting replies from them and now I am in this situation. My solicitor was actually explaining to a particular "lawyer" at this firm and was explaining to her how to apply to court, how to write documents correctly. I am not trained in law however I single handled one of their Barristers recently. I was expecting a fight on my hands. This firm is truly terrible. Read the other reviews. I rest my case in the mean time children are suffering without contact from myself due to pure incompetence.

    I have had a case ongoing with them since march this year i barely hear from my solicitor apparently my physio wrote to the oppositions insurers to which they have contacted my solicitors in September I still have not heard from them regarding this letter and this is holding up me having more treatment for my injuries. I constantly e mail and never have a response. i will be finding another solicitor to take over my case because this company is a joke!
