I had a special edge facing trim for a new oak floor. They did a great job, infact they should market the trim, because i could not find anything on the market simular. I recomend them to anyone reading this review.
Excellent service, from a brilliant team, everyone was so helpful, highly recommend! Offer guidance and cut to size with off cuts cut to fit in vehicle and easy to manage sizes, will definitely be top of my list to use again in future, thanks to all onsite, a fantastic experience for a novice that had no idea great tram effort and friendly advice. I've used these guys 3 times in the last 12 months and I really can't recommend them highly enough. Quality product at a good price, and their service is 2nd to none (special shout out to Neil). I'll be honest, builders merchants can be a little intimidating if you're not a professional tradesman but these guys are super helpful and accommodating - even to a complete novice like me!

Very good experience using bates timber they where friendly good customer service I used them a good while when they where on the foleshill rd the delivery drivers friendly and helpful no complaints whatsoever.
First visit today was after for some wood for a garage roof and have to say they really looked after us (me and wife) went out showed us what we needed no rush or push on time customer service was with our a shadow of doubt the best we’ve had from any building merchants or supplies. Always impressed at these lovely folk, went down quite late today, I actually felt really bad as they were right on closing time (my fault cos I never checked) However...... no drama, no hassle and they looked after my needs brilliantly. So polite and so friendly and so professional.
I went to Bates for some decking. Let me start off by saying the staff is amazing. Very helpful and polite. Pete helped me to sort out the decking and delivery times. We specifically asked to have them go to our neighbors who let them on our property because we were away. They did that and even stacked the decking in our back garden. Top notch company. Even asking questions about the decking oil and how long to wait to treat it. They were patient with me the whole time. I highly recommend Bates.
