Loading slowly. I am standing alone in the whole factory, and already for over an hour, they can't even start loading. The loader is busy with its work. If you are short on time, don't come. It’s better to arrive in the morning and it will be loaded in half a day.

They are a fantastic bunch, happy, fun and so enthusiastic, thats down to the fact they know they make and sell the best decking boards in the world which are totaly unique.

I currently am working on site here as a subcontractor, I've been in and around most of the site and all the staff are very friendly from the security office, the forklift operators and even the owner of the site

Quality hit and miss. We had our decking (coppered oak) installed approximately 5 years ago. During installation, the installer ran out of board before he could build the steps (which run the full width of the decking - approx 10 metres) and so had to buy another batch. However, within a few months the surface of the steps started to peel in several places (note this isn't due to use - the steps are full width so only really the middle gets any foot traffic). The affected steps were replaced by Millboard under warranty. However, further steps peeled and were also replaced (I said I would fit them if they supplied the boards - which they did). Within a year I noticed that the remaining original steps were continuing to peel as were the replacements. Millboard agreed to replace the whole of all of the steps. The original installer came back to fit them and was telling me that he had also replaced the entire decking of the job he did after my original installation and I also know of other customer who have had multiple replacements. The initial batch that form the main part of my decking are still absolutely fine - no peeling whatsoever, but the steps are showing signs of peeling (again!) and also the 'grain' effect on the steps isn't as good as the originals.

Had my induction at this company (production department) last week on Monday. There is one manager already forgot his name, but I think it starts with C, looks middle eastern possibly iranian or kurdish, if you don't agree to have master/slave relationship with him, if you don't just do physically demanding tasks without asking anything, if you ask things to know more about the job and the business ,if you use years of your previous experience to take tasks and work on your own, if you are confident person and don't have low self esteem he tries to kick you out of the company and claims that you're not picking up quickly, he gets mad if you don't understand him quickly in the noise while wearing ear plugs instead of being mad at his own terrible heavy accent. They sent a text to my agency after my induction and claimed that I wasn't picking up quickly and they don't want me, that's quite funny considering all other senior operators on my line were actually telling me the exact opposite, that I was taking tasks people normally take after few weeks of training and I just need to watch at my induction day and even first week, the director of my previous company laughed when he heard about this story. If you are reading this review before doing your induction, try to avoid this sewar rat by all means, evey body hates him, he tries to hurt everyone, so if you are an agency worker you need to avoid the rat whenever it's possible to do so,otherwise if you have any little argument or misunderstanding with him, he will try to kick you out, he's in the new line (Unit 2 or 5 I believe) on day shifts, and works with other Manager called Steve Rankin. I know this isn't enough information, but I'm sure once you have to deal with the rat you will identify it easily and know it's it I'm talking about.
