   Just had a very disappointing discussion with a representative of this business. My wife had asked them to evaluate whether an old mower we had was worth rescuing and how much it would cost to fix if it. They had it in, took a look, did some work and returned it, apparently in working order. Subsequently we sold it to a friend in good faith. When they tried to use it was not in working order and, when they took it to their local engineer they were told that there is “loads wrong with it” and it was doubtful that doing work to it would essentially be throwing good money after bad. This obviously surprised us and we got in touch with RSD. I naively hoped that they would acknowledge the situation and make some gesture in recompense. Unfortunately their response was to deny any responsibility.

   Fixed my Mountfield mower under warranty. They told me that they were seeing a lead time up to four weeks for Mountfield parts, but the bit they needed they had on site anyway ! Good expectation management, and good explanation of the problem.

   Sad when a Loyal customer is ripped off so lawnmower maintenance won’t be done here anymore. Charged £49 for hour labour to change a cover and a belt. The job is 3-4 bolts which takes no longer than 10mins, belt is placed on, blade is removed and cover put on them blade bolt back. Told we have to charge by hour and wouldn’t even change my address on invoice when requested. Don’t overcharge your loyal customers just for being loyal.

   The team at RSD Tool Hire Ltd are always extremely helpful. I have taken our petrol lawn mower here for the last few years, and find the quality of the service to be excellent, at a reasonable price (especially considering the age of the mower). As it has sentimental value, the guys have always done their best to source parts, which I'm really thankful

   Great place!!! Rich & the gents are always a pleasure to do business with. Well presented and professional young men. (Not bad looking either!!) Caring & considerate to all customers, good old fashioned / decent values. Always have a good selection of decent kit in stock. Not "Black & Decker" or "B&Q" tools like a lot of the places. If you need tool hire in Coventry this is the place to go!
