Not a bad store for this budget chain. It is not a big store though. You also have a starbucks and a gym on this site. Be aware you will need to purchase something in order to get free parking using the machine in store

Please ensure you key in your car number to avoid parking charges/penalty. I had a Β£90 parking ticket without noticing this, but the Lidl customer service was so much helpful in cancelling it when I contacted them. Thanks Lidl.

It really isn't good enough for the manager of this store to parrot the same message to every innocent shopper who has been caught out by Lidl's moneymaking car park scheme, My wife and I visited the store this week for the first time in several years as we usually use Lildl Upperton Road. We were incredibly lucky to spot the parking notices (that highlight the fact you get 2 hours free parking, but not the ridiculous receipt scanning). The notice failed to say where the machines were, which neccessitated a journey back through the store, holding our paid for shopping, expecting to get accused of stealing it. How many disgrunted customers must there be who haven't left a review? Crazy for Lidl to spend years bulding up such a good reputation and now try their best to destroy it with their greed.

There should obviously be more space for cycle storage. There are only 2 cycle stands, both too low for an adult bike. Therefore people keep locking their bikes to the trolley storage / blocking the trolley bay of the disabled people. It's 2023, there are hundreds of car parking bays on 2 floors, and only 2 space for bicycles??? Then you walk into the store, and at the entrance, there's a huge LCD display showing facts about Lidl's sustainability. Why is it displayed on a screen that's continuously running on electricity? Why can't you write it on a piece of disposed cardboard by hand if you're really that sustainable? Other than that, it's a really neat Lidl, clean & tidy, very nice staff.

Orange juice machine is never working! Always out of oranges! I have been so many times and it isnt working no matter the day or time. What is the point in having the machine if you can never use it. Buy more oranges for it! Restock the oranges! Annoying

The ultimate brownies from the bakery section are unbelievable, but the star of the show is Lewis Scott! He is by far the friendliest and most competent manager I have ever come across. He went above and beyond to make my stressful Christmas shop an easy and enjoyable day. Thank you Lewis!

I went to lidl in Oadby to received the worst service! I asked for a pound coin for some change and the member of staff said I need to buy something and get cash back. I informed that itβs for a trolley to do a big shop in Lidl today. She ignored me and instead of being polite decided to talk about me to the customers right in front of me! I then just walked off back outside and I heard her say βI donβt careβ Which is so rude and embarrassing! Absolutely shocking service this afternoon.. come on Lidl! Iβve raised a complaint against her and itβs not nice for someone to make you feel that way when Iβm a regular customer and Iβve never had any issues before.

This is recently opened store in oadby area. The best thing about is that its not get busy as opposed to other in near around area. There are always plenty of customer car spaces available all the time. They have everything like any other Lidl store . I have been few times there I quite like it.
