“A small hotel in a quiet country location. Great customer service from Chris who made me feel welcomed and at ease when I arrived. Room was perfect for my needs and it was lovely that one of the cleaners called Pauline offered me room service in the morning as I wasn't expecting it. A very nice place to stay if you're in need of some peace and quiet.”

“I've been twice and had the mixed sizzler, then the chicken madras. The appetizers and Naan are very good and the main dishes are excellently cooked and presented! If you like spice, they will give you spice, but dishes like the madras were very approachable in terms of spice.”

“Visited a few times during lockdown due to Covid 19. One of the security guards, a young Jamaican man who was seeing people in and out of the store was telling jokes, holding quizzes etc whilst patiently waiting, a great touch. Most the staff are a friendly family bunch as well :-)”

“I went to Oadby asda on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 at 7.42pm . I couldn’t do a delivery like normally do as all the slots was gone . When I got to the store I was already struggling as I’m sensory based and have anxiety . I went up to a female worker and explained I needed some assistance doing my shopping and the reasons for this and because things was to overwhelming and for my sensory needs I broke down in pure panic and tears . The lady was so helpful and took me to someone else for help , then a worker called Chris Hughes said I can help and assist . There service manager called zaid said yes for Chris in assisting me round the store at by this time I was having a massive panic attack without knowing I was . They both took me to sit down and stayed with me till my breathing was ok before Chris then help me get a trolly and assissted me with my shopping . I was still very sensory overwhelmed and having a medical on top too to deal with I told Chris I would of found this Exstreamly difficult if did this alone . His kindness of offering me assistance really ment the world to me that day . Both to him and zaid kindness I could not be more forever grateful to them . Even some members of the public in the store also offered to help seeing how distressed and sensory overwhelmed I was . But having the kindness of the store and it’s workers like Chris and zaid , they both truly helped me that night and without there kindness of there assistance I would not of been able to get my food done let alone do it myself without struggling of my sensory needs and a medical need . They both deserve a raise or some sort of praise for what they did for me that night . Pure kindness at heart . Normally my food is delivered because I have a medical and sensory needs . So with there kindness of support in assisting me that night really went along way showing they care for there customers . I will also be writing to there big boss of this showing my gratitude to them both but hope they also see this too . Thank you so very much Oadby asda . I’m forever grateful I really am . You have shown what kindness really means so thank you so much from my heart !”

Bring your own alcohol too! Highly recommend the chicken beyti meal or the chicken sarma beyti. You won't be disappointed whether it's a take away or sit in meal. Also wonderful for young children.”

“I have now been to Joy Coffee Bar a couple of times. A very cosy cafe, shame it is not on the main strip, but that might be part of its appeal. Very polite couple of people serving. Great customer service skills and both should be commended on a good job. “In search of a cooked breakfast whilst visiting Oadby town centre I discovered this place. A lovely, modern, light airy building. I ordered the mega breakfast (2x everything) £8.90 plus a cuppa. Food arrived piping hot, it was good quality and tasted great. The staff here are friendly, polite and welcoming. They also provide a variety of lunches and meals and on certain nights hold speciality food nights (curry, mexican, fish and chip etc) All cakes and scones on sale are homemade and looked delicious. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place.”

“At Hairtech you'll find highly skilled and professional barbers and baristas. The barbers are able to cut both adults and children's hair and clients can either book an appointment or simply walk-in. The establishment is very modern and well kept which includes the new cafe. The cafe serves delicious drinks and cakes as well as sandwiches and hot meals. Couldn't recommend this place enough!”
