I went to Oadby asda on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 at 7.42pm . I couldn’t do a delivery like normally do as all the slots was gone . When I got to the store I was already struggling as I’m sensory based and have anxiety . I went up to a female worker and explained I needed some assistance doing my shopping and the reasons for this and because things was to overwhelming and for my sensory needs I broke down in pure panic and tears . The lady was so helpful and took me to someone else for help , then a worker called Chris Hughes said I can help and assist . There service manager called zaid said yes for Chris in assisting me round the store at by this time I was having a massive panic attack without knowing I was . They both took me to sit down and stayed with me till my breathing was ok before Chris then help me get a trolly and assissted me with my shopping . I was still very sensory overwhelmed and having a medical on top too to deal with I told Chris I would of found this Exstreamly difficult if did this alone . His kindness of offering me assistance really ment the world to me that day . Both to him and zaid kindness I could not be more forever grateful to them . Even some members of the public in the store also offered to help seeing how distressed and sensory overwhelmed I was . But having the kindness of the store and it’s workers like Chris and zaid , they both truly helped me that night and without there kindness of there assistance I would not of been able to get my food done let alone do it myself without struggling of my sensory needs and a medical need . They both deserve a raise or some sort of praise for what they did for me that night . Pure kindness at heart . Normally my food is delivered because I have a medical and sensory needs . So with there kindness of support in assisting me that night really went along way showing they care for there customers . I will also be writing to there big boss of this showing my gratitude to them both but hope they also see this too . Thank you so very much Oadby asda . I’m forever grateful I really am . You have shown what kindness really means so thank you so much from my heart !

I used to spend about £300 a month in this store. But not anymore. They have ruined the shopping experience in recent years. I now only use this store for a few things I can’t get elsewhere. And whenever I do go in there now, the staff often look demoralised and demotivated. Within 5 minutes of walking through the aisles, you’re almost certain to overhear shop floor workers moaning to each other about their bosses or colleagues.

I went to the customer relations at 6.40pm on previous to last Saturday. There was only one lady at the desk who I showed the receipts of my George items bought in store, defective so I wanted to return them..she said wait for the manager, whole she continued serving the next people in queue. The manager came after 10 minutes and said oh this is not my place as it's about George so a George colleague will have to come. George colleague/manager arrived and by then it was 15 minutes of me standing there waiting to be heard. When she arrived, the initial manager raised her finger towards me and said let me talk to her while you wait, you wait. I stood there frozen by her attitude towards me. It took me 10 seconds to collect myself and stand up and speak up that this is my return and I want to talk to your George manager! When I explained everything, without acknowledging or making eye contact, the George manager said give 'her' a gift card. I challenged her that you have a 100 day satisfaction policy and I am returning with the receipt after 2 weeks of purchase so I want a refund! What happened after that was the worst part. The lady at the desk of customer service said come back here. When I did, the lady said I will have to serve the people first . I said I'm sorry you just told me to come here so she said if you want a refund you need to wait! I have never had such an awful customer service by Asda or any other big store like Tesco or Aldi as I had that day with Asda Oadby branch. I got out after this ordeal at 7.05 pm. I felt humiliated and insulted by all three members of your staff who dealt at the customer service desk. They were rude, unprofessional, arrogant and lacked any coordination or manners. I have promised not to go to that side ever again..I have also complained to Asda so they do something about training their staff in manners! So people don't have to go through such rude staff as I had to!

Nice sized store Good location Everything you would expect from a Asda. Staff are ok. Clean. Decently stocked Car park is decent and I like the way they have a underground one for bad weather Reason for the one star is that a trolley guy hit my car. Scratched it and ran off. Went into the store and you can see him hitting me and running off. Manager got involved and had a case number… received a call later on that day where the person on the phone is one of the rudest personl I have ever spoken to. Said he wouldn’t prosecute us( didn’t know we injured the trolley) wouldn’t pay for the scratch and dent. So be careful!! I would’ve expected a big store with a good reputation to have sorted this issue. Also with video evidence proving we were not at fault. Shame

Click and collect is such a headache every time, I have ordered multiple times and am always left waiting around for someone to come, click and collect is suppose to be a fast transaction, this time someone's parcel was lost and the supervisor I think was called to help look for it, instead of one person serving the next people both decided to waste everyone's time on looking for one parcel, absolutely stupid lack of service, also no point in keeping it logged down if nothing actually gets done about it because this bad service with click and collect has been ongoing for a while now. Instead of just logging down the complaint, procedures should be put in place to make click and collect much swift and easier like having more than one person on click and collect when there's longer cues or parcels can't be found.

I visited the Oadby Asda store today. I wanted to buy some more of their utterly delicious Irish cream liqueur mince pie's. I couldn't find them. I spoke to shop assistant Summah in the bakery section. She was excellent. She stopped what she was doing, and helped me find the items I wanted. Friendly, courteous and helpful. The best kind of ambassador for Asda. I hope the store manager reads this report and gives her a big pat on the back. Thank you Summah!

Been here multiple times and service + management is great. Always have the products I need at a suitable price. Just a question that I've always had but never gotten the answer too, Am I allowed to take my bicycle in store when I don't have my lock?

I just wanted to say that the staff here are amazing! There have been a couple of times that I've been nervous or uncomfortable and the staff have just been so sweet and asked me if I'm okay. I just think they do so well. The staff working on the self scan tils are honestly superheroes in Asda clothing. They all are! Lots of love xxx

Nice place to do shopping, staff is ok too just like any other supermarket, they have plenty of parking space so no issue of finding parking up there. All in one shop Asda . I have visited there many time to shop and my experience is fine. They have guideline there for Covid but not enforced just things are there to clean if you want otherwise did not see anyone dedicated to ensure that guidelines are being followed at least in my observation.
