We came here for an impromptu date. We had a slight issue with our meal but Olivia was very kind, attentive and understanding. We left happy! Would highly recommend the small plates for food! All the drinks seemed great. The seasonal menu was wonderful too!
I recently visited the pub and had the pleasure of being served by Ethan. His service was exceptional from start to finish. He was attentive without being intrusive, friendly, and incredibly professional. Ethan made great recommendations, checked in at the perfect moments, and created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made the whole experience even better. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely enjoys what they do, and Ethan’s positive attitude truly stood out. Outstanding service—I’ll definitely be back!
Could of made a better dinner shopping from Iceland. Fish was dripping eith grease and chewy felt like I was chewing chicken. Chips were bland. Mushy peas non existent. Overall disgusting forced myself to eat it . Service was ok . Wont be going back there again . Only went cause got invited . Wish I got uninvited now . Avoid avoid avoid
The Oadby Owl pub is a beautiful establishment both inside and out. The lovely beer garden is a great spot to relax, and the extensive restaurant offers a comfortable dining experience. The pub is very clean, and the decor is amazing, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and polite, making the visit even more enjoyable. We ordered the gammon, buttermilk chicken burger, and hunters chicken, and all were freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us with no room for dessert! However, I did notice that there isn't much choice for vegetarians. I ordered the mushroom chili, but it had a bit too much of a smoky flavor for my taste and could use a bit more rice on the side, along with some green garnish. Overall, it's an excellent place for meat eaters, with fantastic service and a great atmosphere.
Hungry horse food is always good & this pub keeps up with that. Staff are friendly & good prices. Only reason for 4 stars is drinks machine is not working & toilets could be a little cleaner (toilets smelt & water all over the floor)

Great pub to bring the kids, lots of choices on the menu, the staff were very friendly. I’d give it 5 stars but I had to wait 15 minutes to get served.
This is a brilliant place for a meal out locally. The staff are awesome, the food is as well, great opportunity for a reasonable price (or cost.) Although the service isn't great on big nights or just generally the weekend, but overall, the menu, the kindness... No, every thing. Thank You
I made a very good review for this pop a few months back. I’ve remove that review so that I can make this with you tonight I can’t say I’ll be out for a meal with my auntie Debbie am I uncle I thought I was going to have a relaxing beautiful meal But all I really had was a horrible meal the scampi was hard the chips weren’t very nice the peas were really hard and I don’t think I would ever come back only if I had to sorry to all the staff and all the workers but that’s how I feel
