I've been twice and had the mixed sizzler, then the chicken madras. The appetizers and Naan are very good and the main dishes are excellently cooked and presented! If you like spice, they will give you spice, but dishes like the madras were very approachable in terms of spice.
Food is great. Good options on alcohol too. Lively place.. Always a go to for family functions, partying with mates and family too.
I am Sports Lounge Oadby’s biggest fan from across the channel! The chili paneer is absolutely fantastic. I visited half a year ago and I still dream about it. The dosa was also peng! I will for sure come back one day, even if I have to spend 14 hours in a flixbus again. I adore you guys so much! Much love from the Netherlands
A lively sports bar with tasty food and friendly, attentive staff. It’s a good spot for both friends and family, though it can get quite noisy. Drink prices are fair, but the glass cleanliness was disappointing — even replacements weren’t spotless. The food was excellent overall; we tried several dishes, and the mains turned out to be far more flavourful than the starters.
A great sports bar venue coupled with good food. Restaurant and bar staff are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is suitable for friends and family though can get quite loud. Drink prices are reasonable. The cleanliness of the glasses was a massive disappointment. My friends and I noted several glasses to be dirty even after replacement. Food is great, we ordered a variety of starters and mains. To our surprise the mains were much more flavoursome.
Typical sports bar very loud and rowdy which is fine if that's your kind of thing. Good selection of drinks and priced about what you would expect for a sports bar. Food is very tasty a little over priced for the portion you get. Staff are fine but the manager let's the place down, very rude and obnoxious and talks down to people. The one main reason avoid the place.
Great place to watch a game, get some quality food and have a laugh. Good atmosphere, with friendly staff and defect pricing for drinks. Nice area outside too. The food is very good, lots of variety and again is well priced and very nice. Highly recommended.
This place does not look like much from the outside but the food was absolutely fantastic! We were kindly brought here by a colleague and we feasted on some of the best Indian food I have ever had. I counted 18 tvs so an amazing place to watch a match! However I would go back for the food. It was really delish!!
I am a curry fiend and have eaten in curry houses all over the Uk. The food here is amazing, I could literally eat here everyday. The bar staff are extremely friendly. We go here for sports and food as well as the odd midweek drink after work.
Decent curry. First off, you normally start with poppadoms, right? Right. Poppadoms a poppadom, right? Wrong. These were old, stale, wafer thin, chewy, & make your tongue stick to the roof of your mouth kind of bad. The chutneys were average. Nothing I would rush back for. Oh they were also really small!? Just go down the road to the other Indian for some good poppadoms and chutneys. The chicken tikka and other dish we had were ok, again, nothing that would knock your socks off. But decent. Both the naans were very doughy and heavy. The garlic naan did not have much flavour of garlic, and the keema naan, was not to my personal liking, it was a very thin cheap tasting lamb patty in the naan. I prefer actual mince. That’s just my preference. The chilli paneer however. Was delicious! I would come back just for this, and then try another dish.
