“In search of a cooked breakfast whilst visiting Oadby town centre I discovered this place. A lovely, modern, light airy building. I ordered the mega breakfast (2x everything) £8.90 plus a cuppa. Food arrived piping hot, it was good quality and tasted great. The staff here are friendly, polite and welcoming. They also provide a variety of lunches and meals and on certain nights hold speciality food nights (curry, mexican, fish and chip etc) All cakes and scones on sale are homemade and looked delicious. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend this place.”

“I've been twice and had the mixed sizzler, then the chicken madras. The appetizers and Naan are very good and the main dishes are excellently cooked and presented! If you like spice, they will give you spice, but dishes like the madras were very approachable in terms of spice.”

“Definitely the finest and most value money Turkish restaurant in the city. The food is fresh, the service is personal and the correct balance of spices and other ingredients. Bring your own alcohol too! Highly recommend the chicken beyti meal or the chicken sarma beyti. You won't be disappointed whether it's a take away or sit in meal. Also wonderful for young children.”

“I have now been to Joy Coffee Bar a couple of times. A very cosy cafe, shame it is not on the main strip, but that might be part of its appeal. Very polite couple of people serving. Great customer service skills and both should be commended on a good job. It's not hard to be friendly, but I've have been to many places where people don't take the time or effort to speak with customers. I will definitely be back.”

“At Hairtech you'll find highly skilled and professional barbers and baristas. The barbers are able to cut both adults and children's hair and clients can either book an appointment or simply walk-in. The establishment is very modern and well kept which includes the new cafe. The cafe serves delicious drinks and cakes as well as sandwiches and hot meals. Couldn't recommend this place enough!”

“I organised a baby shower for a lovely friend of mine. The service I was given was outstanding. Janice’s response to emails was amazing. She helped so much. The chef who made our afternoon was also very accommodating, especially with the mum-to-be having gestational diabetes. I have to say it’s the first place that has accommodated for gestational diabetes for the afternoon tea and made a separate dessert. Some lovely banana bread. The amount of sweet treats you get in their afternoon tea is more than you would ever get anywhere else. I would definitely recommend eating there too. The Sunday roasts are amazing too.”

Bavneet’s attention to detail to her new and returning to customers is amazing she has a very warm presence about herself always serving customers with a smile. One of the most welcoming Starbucks I’ve been too especially since moving 3 hours from my own local Starbucks. I will be a returning customer for sure.”

“Went here the old horse n hounds has gone. This has been completly redone internally, its very nice and modern inside. The food menu has lots to choose from I went for the ultimate burger which was very tasty. It took a while for the food to come out even though it was not very busy. Apart from that it was great and will visit again. Also as a bonus the booth we sat in had a tv just for us which kept our lil one occupied with a film on.”

“A local favourite, food had been consistently good for a long time, service is great. Can get rowdy on football match evenings so check the calendar if you don’t like the noise…personally I think it just adds to the atmosphere”

“50p Pool table with chalk and usable cues, not much on draft but we stayed for a couple of pints and some pool. Lovely old pub and needs more visitors to keep it open. Will come back when we are in the area. Only downside is it's cash only but if you're playing pool, you should have some anyway. : ) Didn't have food, not sure they do any, but giving it the full 5 stars for everything as bar lady was really nice..”
