They charge 50p for small bags and they won't tell they did it. Scamming lot of people with this
The best store in Coventry, you cant beat it. Very beautiful atmosphere and an amazing clean shop. Staff are very helpful and customer service focused, and you have different types of sections from European, Asian and African foods which is great for the diverse community in Hillfields. Absolute top quality! A family run shop that started all the way in 1989 and has expanded to be the top store to visit in the heart of Coventry.
Great place to shop. Fantastic range of foods. Staff good especially the owner. Top man. Friendly, always has time. Even delivered food when was unable to carry much. Wouldn't shop anywhere else in Hillfields. A note on some of the nasty reviews on here ...Amrik doesn't suffer fools ....or thieves. !
Fantastic shop for alcohol, spoilt for choice really. So much here for my home bar that I haven't found anywhere else and the prices are quite reasonable. There's also a good selection of European food and a decent butchers at the back. Always found customer service to be polite and friendly!
By far the best shop in the area. Never had an issue with the staff despite some of these reviews, treat them with respect and you receive it back. These guys don't have the easiest task running a shop in this area I take my hat off to them as a job well done. They have a massive range of products at decent prices you rarely have to go anywhere else to find what your looking for and the products are priced reasonably too.
Loco is a great store. The staff is very friendly and the products are of good quality. It's quite big too and has almost any grocery items you'll ever need.
@krzysztof Nowotarski Hi. This "old unpleasant man" is one of the nicest people there. Calling someone "unpleasant" and "mean" is incredibly rude of you to say about someone. Speaking rudely of someone you do not know says a lot about your character. The people who work on the till do not need to wear a face mask as they are protected from the screen which has been put in place. Also just for your information, people can be exempt from wearing a face mask if they have underlying health issues which may be triggered from wearing one. You do not know if the "old unpleasant man" suffers from anything, so you do your part to the community and wear your face mask to keep others safe. Maybe if you took the time out of your day to actually speak to him, you would have an entirely different view on him. LOCO has been around for years and myself and many others do not have one bad thing to say about them or the team. so please, instead of being a keyboard warrior try be a nice person and actually speak to them :) ANYWAYS GUYS SHOP AT LOCO BEST SHOP IN THE CITY!!!!!!! :):):)
Old unpleasant man selling with dirty hands, very mean and not friendly at all. Not wearing face mask, with broken and filthy gloves. Hygiene level below any acceptable standard. I do not recommend this shop at all.
