I only asked where I could find hand sanitiser and got shouted at by the staff. Very unpleasant and unhelpful staff.
The security guard genuinely needs to stop staring at people when they are shopping normally. Especially young ladies, make me uncomfortable. I wasn't going to say anything but my friend always has the same thing happen to her.
Mess in shelfs - toilet paper at top shelves where cookies- completely irrelevant. Lack of basic articles. Staff is amazing kind helpful and respectful.
I’ve been living in the area for over a year now and regularly shop at this Tesco Express. Unfortunately, my experience has consistently been unpleasant due to the behaviour of one of the store’s security guards. Almost every time I visit, I’m followed and stared at in a way that feels extremely uncomfortable and inappropriate. It’s as if I’m being treated with suspicion for simply doing my shopping. This kind of behaviour is intrusive, intimidating, and feels deeply discriminatory. Instead of focusing on genuine issues within the store, the security guard seems more interested in targeting certain individuals unfairly. It’s unacceptable and makes what should be a simple shopping trip feel hostile and stressful. I strongly urge store management to review the conduct of their security staff and provide proper training. Every customer deserves to feel respected and safe, not harassed or profiled while shopping. Until this changes, I cannot recommend this Tesco Express to anyone.
I just wanted to say thank you to Liv for my experience at Tesco today; I suffer quite badly with anxiety and have autism, so I don't normally shop alone, but today I had no choice. By the time I got to the checkout I was feeling really nervous like I was about to have a panic attack, and Liv greeted me with a huge smile and complimented me on my earrings. She was so lovely and really easy to talk to, and I ended up leaving the store feeling a lot better. I don't know if she could tell how I was feeling at the time, but she really made my day so much brighter. Thank you again, Liv! You're a wonderful person ❤️

Convenience store in city centre. Wide variety of products. Generally good quality but sometimes overpriced as not many supermarkets in city centre. Opens nearly 365 days. Often has discount products.
Staff member tutted and shook his head at my daughter who is autistic. The aisles are small, especially If you have a wheelchair. My daughter extended her leg out as I was pushing her along the aisle and she hit the stock shelf he was using to put stock out. He thought it was appropriate to tutt and shake his head. I told him at the time she didn't purposely kick the shelf. She isnt as aware of her surroundings because she has a mental condition. She wears a sunflower lanyard that demonstrates she has a hidden disability - all staff should be aware of this. He just smiled. I think he felt embarrassed by his reaction that was clearly inappropriate. Staff need some serious training. The security guards have always been great. More helpful than the actual shop assistants.
All the staff are super friendly. (We love you) Lots of great vegan stuff which is good because it's only a small store. Thanks for installing lots of new self service machines, they help keep the queues down.
