   Absolutely terrible attitude. Asked for wood to be cut and swore under his breath. Asked for damaged heavy items to be exchanged and just walked away. Don't usually leave bad reviews but what a terrible attitude for a retail worker.

   What a truly appalling experience with B&Q kitchens, feeling completely scammed by their practices. I was promised a 30% discount on a kitchen, explicitly told it ended on August 11th. Despite expressing my clear intent to proceed on August 8th and 9th – well before the deadline – I was left waiting. B&Q then conveniently waited until August 12th to contact me, only to cancel a booked appointment for the 13th and declare I was ‘too late’ for the discount. This feels less like a professional company being ‘too busy’ and more like they deliberately delayed to avoid honouring the discount. Even when I finally got through, the manager simply brushed me off, blaming the survey’s return date (August 10th) despite my prior expressions of commitment, without acknowledging any wrongdoing. The entire process was extremely disappointing, and the provided complaint line just rings out..(27minutes today) Beware of B&Q’s deceptive practices and abysmal customer service. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING

   Asked for assistance from a guy named Josh who was working in the B&Q Newport branch.He took me to what i wanted straight away and even carried the self leveling compound i needed to my car for me as i forgot to get a trolley. Josh's customer service was absolutely first class and B&Q should be very proud of him as an employee. Excellent service

   First I was looking for a bathroom light, I had a look myself and couldn’t find it, asked an employee hey do you stock this, she went ‘it would be over there’ then walked off. I don’t mind if she was busy or didn’t know, but surely she could have communicated that. From looking online I found b and q do stock the item but only for online delivery, so she told me to go look for a product they don’t stock. Very rude Also don’t like the returns policy. You have to give them your postcode even if it’s for an in store return. I said I don’t see why they need it and I don’t want to give it, the employee just kept repeating it’s our policy it’s our policy, without explaining why they would need that (I still don’t feel they do)

   Very good store. They have a pick n mix for screws. which no other b n q has. Great for restocking toolbox without buying huge boxes of screws. Had a few good discounts as well. When asking staff for directions, they have always been very helpful as well.

   Expert help given on the paint dept, specifically the Valspar paint mixing area. A lovely young lady called Elinor was so happy to help, she had only been working in the store for 4 weeks but was very knowledgable and willing. Hang on to her B&Q she is a credit to you and herself!

   A very big but well laid out store. It was not too busy on my visit It was easy to navigate through the isles , when I needed assistance a member of staff helped me straight away. Would recommend you visit here.

   Very standard B&Q in my view: - Couldn’t find any staff for help. - Didn’t have what I wanted in stock but thankfully there were alternatives on the shelf that did the same job. I’d prefer to use a UK based DIY store as opposed to Amazon… but sometimes the choice as B&Q forces the hand.

   Previously told "no public toilets" Today I was directed by a nice lady to a customer toilet, there's a baby changing room also. It looks unused and is hiding behind a staff only door, probably to prevent you using it.
