   Have visited this Screwfix for years. Always handy in a pinch for grabbing something needed in the middle of a project that would otherwise take days to come if delivered, saved many headaches. The staff is always helpful in providing suggestions, listening to dilemmas and suggesting what products will be needed, and many times through their experience have saved me from needing to make an extra trip by ensuring I had all I needed. Click and collect is perfect as well.

   Useless staff I entered the store and joined a queue of 4 customers ( THERE WERE 2 QUEUES ) when I reached the counter the fool behind it informed me I was not next, and another gentleman was next in the other queue along side me for a different till. The fool informed me there was only one queue, but there clearly was 2, and I would have to join the other queue at the back!! I was told they no longer have a collect till anymore, although there was a sign above the fools head stating otherwise. Toolstation is opposite, with lovely friendly staff, who treat you with respect and much easier to park

   This has been my "local" for many years and my experience has always been very positive. Helpful staff giving a quick and efficient service (as much as is possible within the bounds of their systems), and any product issues have been quickly resolved. The parking can be congested at times as there aren't many designated spaces and they're shared with the neighbouring CEF. Having said that, street parking is within easy reach just outside the gate. Oh and Bank Holiday opening... nice.

   Called into the Barry store on Saturdayto buy a retractable washing line was given to understand that they had one and after paying was informed that it was not in stock and would have to be ordered and that no I couldn't have a refund immediatly but would have to come back during the next week so I decided in that case to continue with the order, my phone number was not taken and I had to ring the 0333 number to check if the item was in and to give my phone number for them to ring me when it finally arrived. Not good customer service to a 79 year old lady who is dependent on someone else coming to fit the line.

   Very helpful lady who assisted me yesterday with hosepipe connection kit. Not sure exactly what i needed, and even though it was near to closing 7.45, took the time to advise and explain the optional products. I now have a fully functional hose system. Excellent service thank you so much.

   Been here loads. But never reviewed. Very friendly people work hard here. For a national company they have a good local business feel. 99.5%availability on their goods. (Well for me). Impressed and would recommend.
