Had my 2 year old daughters party there at weekend, loved it. Age appropriate, great staff ,enough space. Little bit cold in cafe but fire was on. Plenty of car parking space. Would definitely come back for a visit and have a future party here.

Great for kids, not for coffee. We'll be going here again, but I'll be keeping to cold drinks. You're going here for the soft play, so the fact there's a passable coffee shop attached is just a bonus. The soft play is great for under 5s, easily the best one I've taken my 16 month old. The cafe has a few cold drinks and cakes. Nothing earth shattering, but it's pretty much a galley kitchen they're operating out of. Coffee: I had hope going in as they've got an OK set up and 200° beans. It might just have been the staff on the day I went in, but the coffee was not good. Dark roasted beans, over extracted (I think the machine was set too hot) and the milk for my flat white looked like it'd been steamed with a frother wand. Next time I'll pass on the coffee and just have one at home instead.

I've been really struggling to find place to take my tornado toddler as he gets very overwhelmed and overstimulated with play groups etc. A friend told me about Average Joe's so I thought I'd give it a try (I thought for £3 if he goes in and wants to go out after five minutes it's ok) He loved it!! We were there for nearly two hours in the end as he didn't want to leave. This place is brilliant, bouncy castle, soft play area, play kitchen, toys, a climbing slide and lots of sparkly lights. It's not a great big center and it's only for 5yrs and under, but that is what has made it so perfect for my little boy. The staff are lovely and friendly. The cafe is really nice for a little treat to. We will definitely be coming here on a regular basis from now on

Located in an industrial area near Great Railway Station, cafe with soft play area for under 5s for £2. Food options available and little outdoor seating area. My little one loved the bouncy castle and the variety of toys and fancy dresses. Quirky little cafe area with nice staff. Didn't use gym facilities.

From the outside, Average Joe's looks like a random warehouse surrounded by other warehouses, but once you walk in it is nothing like what you would expect. As you walk in, you can see the area that they serve you food and drink (and pay for your childs entry into the soft play). The price for a child is very reasonable at £2 a child for as long as you wish to stay. They have plenty to eat and drink from fruit juice to milkshakes to Lattes and deluxe hot chocolates, and toast, to pizza, to wraps and pastries along with freshly made cakes and muffins. There is plenty of seating around the lounge with a few tables littered around. The soft play area itself has a ball pit and a bouncy castle along with plenty of toys and soft play mats. There is an area to dress up too. Through the next room there is also a full size gym that seems popular with plenty of equipment. The staff at Average Joe's are kind and funny and you can have a chat and a laugh with them. They do children's parties here but I do not know current pricing as my daughter had her birthday party here 3 years ago (and loved it).

When I actually found the entrance. Thought this wasn't that bad. But didn't feel very welcome. Soft play area was alright. Didn't have a gate at the entrance and there was kids running out in to the coffee area and one even managed to get out of the main door. Posted a picture of the entrance. So it's easier for others to actually find the way in
