“I purchased salmon sashimi to enjoy at home, and it was incredibly fresh and deliciously rich. The salmon sushi and tuna avocado sushi I had in-store were equally delightful. The bubble tea was excellent, and the egg waffle was tasty—though it could be even better if it were a bit crispier.”
“A local café serving good honest food at affordable prices. Lovely people serving lovely food. Very clean and pleasant toilet too!”
“Very solid fry-up delivered really quickly, friendly service. A rare open establishment early doors on Sunday morning, so busy with cafe customers bantering.”
“Tasty food, pleasant staff. Good location for shopping.”
“I high recommend this cafe and the tables outside looking at the railway station. One could do trainspotting there and take wonderful photos. There is so much to take on photos. The sense of the past is so strong that one has the feeling being taken back to the 60s.”
“Really great atmosphere, so far only tried the coffee and pastries. Which are delicious! Loking forward to trying their breakfast next.”
“Top food in Loughborough! Food was faultless. The Rucola pizza was lovely and can’t wait to try more from here! Small bites were great too, came with dips and full of flavour. Reasonably priced, and lovely staff. Quite a small restaurant so can get crowded however a lovely atmosphere when quiet.”
“Leena and Raoul brilliant service very friendly and kind. Return here after many years brought me some good memories the og chip butty special a must try please vist”
“A huge thank you to the brewery for a incredible baby shower. From start to finish, it was well communicated and easy to book. The effort that was put in was amazing and it looked incredible on arrival. The afternoon tea was delicious and everyone commented saying how lovely it was. I can’t thank Sarah and the team enough. Would highly recommend. Took so much pressure off that they did all the set up themselves. Thank you again!”
“it was really good this worker called jamie served me excellent service no wait time hot food came out perfect temperature I loved it cheap aswell 1-10£ really good I really recommend it will be going back”
“We really liked how the tables were arranged with lots of room between them. It gave us privacy to chat, was a much more relaxed atmosphere and made a Saturday lunchtime a lovely experience. The food was lovely and arrived very quickly. We're definitely going back next weekend.”
“Very nice little café in Quorn. The food is lovely but you have to wait a bit. Cosy place and really recommended.it is probably the best English breakfast in the area..”
“I've been really struggling to find place to take my tornado toddler as he gets very overwhelmed and overstimulated with play groups etc. A friend told me about Average Joe's so I thought I'd give it a try (I thought for £3 if he goes in and wants to go out after five minutes it's ok) He loved it!! We were there for nearly two hours in the end as he didn't want to leave. This place is brilliant, bouncy castle, soft play area, play kitchen, toys, a climbing slide and lots of sparkly lights. It's not a great big center and it's only for 5yrs and under, but that is what has made it so perfect for my little boy. The staff are lovely and friendly. The cafe is really nice for a little treat to. We will definitely be coming here on a regular basis from now on”
“I couldn’t recommend a place more! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the kind of warmth and hospitality that makes you feel right at home. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming - perfect for a catch up with friends, getting some work done, or simply just enjoying a seriously good coffee! You can really feel the love and care that goes into every detail, from the decor and the way they treat their customers. It’s the kind of place that remembers your name and usual order. Loughborough’s little treasure”
“A great little coffee shop, with friendly and happy staff. Plenty of seating, including outside seating, with loads of charging sockets.”
“A calm and relaxing cafe with boarding games and amazing food!! I lovely time to relax”
“A nice little cafe right next to the entrance of Beacon Hill Park, if you enter through the lower car park. There are a few seats inside and some on the porch area, but we really enjoyed sitting on the benches on the grass. It was a great day so it was pretty good to sit in the great outdoors as close to nature as we can while enjoying our lunch”
“The staff were absolutely wonderful, all of them. Our room was lovely, bed very comfortable, Everywhere was very clean. Menu i must admit was a little disappointing but didn't present too much of a problem. We also took our cat who settled in very quickly! All the staff made a big fuss of him. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be using this staying here again next visit.”
“Great cafe, consistently nice coffee and staff are lovely. Popular in town centre so queues can get quite long, but if you're happy to wait you'll get a nice coffee.”
