“Always a great place to visit. Sunsets are beautiful to see up there. Solstice is a must. The rocks are of Geological importance. Great views. Don't be surprised to see very long horned cows. They live there. They are a very placid breed. Very photogenic. Dogs on leads. There's a few different paths down to the lower ground. It's a nice walk down but seems very steep on the way back up. Deepening on your fitness level.”

“I love this place a maze full of trees, always take our wellies to walk through the stream. Great for kids and adults alike. Thrre are two car park entrances to Swithland Woods this one to the south and another to the north. I come here in all weathers and seasons. In the summertime you can even have a picnic at the picnic tables located near the north car park. They have now started to charge for car parking but still a great alternative to Bradgate park.”

“What more can I say but absolutely fantastic service from this company. Ordered a wooden bed but wanted a higher headboard and a higher foot board which was no problem at all. Mark and carol took very good care of my wife and myself during the whole process and the bed was delivered on time, and we love it. “We took our son's large dog for a run around. On the positive side it was great to have a big space that was secure. He was more interested in the smells and horses he found fascinating. He didn't play on any of the equipment as he hadn't a clue what to do. We just booked half hour which I was exhausted by (not him) on my hands and knees encouraging him to go through tunnels, jumping up and down for trampolines. But alas he would use no equipment. “Absolute hidden gem! It’s so humble on the outside, but the food and the flavours are so good! It was so hard to decide what to get, because there’s so many delicious options. We started with the Tom Yum (a personal fav that was the most flavourful I’ve ever had, not too spicy and with juicy chicken) and fried prawns. Noodles soups for main, both with generous portions, wonderful broth once again and packed full of toppings. The pink milk drink was delightful too, sweet and moreish - just wish we’d noticed the mango sticky rice on the specials board for dessert, what a treat that would’ve been and no doubt as delicious as the rest. The service was smiley and very kind, quick and charming. Very lovely indeed! Will very much be back!”

“I've been really struggling to find place to take my tornado toddler as he gets very overwhelmed and overstimulated with play groups etc. A friend told me about Average Joe's so I thought I'd give it a try (I thought for £3 if he goes in and wants to go out after five minutes it's ok) He loved it!! We were there for nearly two hours in the end as he didn't want to leave. This place is brilliant, bouncy castle, soft play area, play kitchen, toys, a climbing slide and lots of sparkly lights. It's not a great big center and it's only for 5yrs and under, but that is what has made it so perfect for my little boy. The staff are lovely and friendly. The cafe is really nice for a little treat to. We will definitely be coming here on a regular basis from now on”
