At the time I post this, the toilets are for want of a better word shocking. I obviously can't speak for the state of the ladies, but the men's have been out of order for at least 3 weeks due to a leak, the toilet in the baby change is blocked (and the door lock is broken again) so the only men's toilet you've got is the disabled one. Tesco it cannot be that hard to fix a toilet can it ? I know this much if the ladies were in a similar state as the gents, it would make Wales online

Worst time to go to Tesco Pengham Green is after I've been up to Scotland to visit my daughter in Irvine and used Tesco there. Night and day difference with very rarely are they short of what I'm looking for and usually 3-4 people on the manned tills. It seems as if Pengham Green has become a dumping ground for stock nearing used by date or bottom of the queue for restock. Just been today, 6 items I couldn't get, 7-8 people at 1 single manned till, 5-6 people queuing for self service. Think this will be the push to try somewhere else.

The store is well organised and maintained. It has a good feeling about it. One problem I experienced there was in the yogurt section. As soon as I held one it squeezed out all over my clothes. I noticed then that some were already open!

This is a large Tesco Extra in the slightly odd location off of Rover Way. There is a very large car park, next to the Tesco petrol station. Inside is a very spacious and clean supermarket with a cafe at the entrance. Also contains a bulk buying section near the front with various deals or larger than usual products. Shelves are well stocked throughout, usually has a large selection of reduced food also.

Been too this Tesco many times, live close. Limited food options. Not lots of vegetables/fruit. There's some options. however not lots of leafy greens, or bagged veggie packets. Not lot of fresh herbs, there all in bags and way overpriced. They don't have a fresh fish station anymore. Nor a salad bar. Floors are dirty, haven't been cleaned in year. Toilets are dirty too. Meal deals often not stocked well. Random food/veg laying around on random shelfs going green/bad. The staff are overall nice, however some snobby, and always talking to other staff. terrible Christmas decorations. had a random slay with a reindeer in the middle of the shop? overpriced food and Christmas items. Didn't bother to reduce Christmas candles/blankets/pillows. the day before Christmas, the did not reduce any food the same date. The cafe is overpriced, barely open and never clean. i've seen dust/black stuff on the floor under shelf being hidden. Not lot of cleaning products to buy just bare minimal and very overpriced. They should bring back the fish/meat sections. The salad bar. And Christmas lights, not festive for Halloween or Christmas Or easter. They don't care. The bakery is barely used/opened. No fresh bread being sold daily, from the bakery, unlike other shops which make fresh pastries daily. Its a 5-10 minute walk from my house depending on the weather. Just no effort. morrisons cut up the meat for you, and it has a fresh meat section, salad bar, bakery, pizza making area, a cafe that is large (and clean) Big toilets. And lot of tills open instead of 1 or 2. many tills havent been used for years. Rabbit/guinea pig food is bare, barely any good treats for them. Unlike sainsbury's/morrisons that provide way more. lots of sugar spillage/dog/cat food spilt on floor/ Random items lying around on shelf. Blankets/pillows with no tags. Reduced Vegetables extremely overpriced.

If I could give a zero star I would. Customer service was absolutely appalling last was very snappy and rude, with blonde ginger hair I didn’t catch her name. Very unhelpful and unwelcoming when asked for help. Also walking around the store rude members of staff absolutely everywhere. Manager needs to sort out who they are actually hiring. Will be getting the names of the people next time this has gone on too long .

The store is very good, the cafe is good too, but the toilets are seriously pathetic! 2 cubicals for a store that size, todays visit saw one cubical broken, the other had a toilet roll holder that was somehow defective as it took me almost 5 mins to get enough out, and there’s no soap. Come on Tesco!

Good location for me. Plenty of car parking space even at busiest of times. Good selection of items, but fresh fruit and vegetable section is quite poor for such a big store - you can get much better selection of fresh fruit and vegetables in a tiny store. But the frozen section and everything else including clothes is great. Very spacious and comfortable place to shop. When they have club card prices, you can get great deals. Overall, always has been a good shopping experience at Tesco Pengam, Cardiff.
