A wonderful venue , seating just a few hundred. Intimate and perfect for fosse free night out. Not a lot of legroom in certain seats.

Lovely little theatre. Oldest in Leicester I believe? Staff was friendly. Seating is spacious. If visiting Leicester I woukd recommend booking to see a show here very good value for money, with lots of parking nearby also 50yds from the train station.

Not been to the Y for ages but recently saw IQ there. Really nice little venue with max capacity about 350. The bar seemed to be bottled beer only but no problem.

I recently visited the Y Theatre in Leicester, and I have to say, it was a delightful experience. This charming venue has a rich history, and you can really feel it as soon as you step inside. The building itself is quite lovely, blending tradition with a warm atmosphere that makes you feel at home. The seating is comfortable, and the layout allows for a good view from almost anywhere in the house., and the acoustics were impressive; I could hear every word clearly, which isn't always the case in some theatres. The staff were friendly and helpful, guiding us to our seats and ensuring we had everything we needed. One highlight for me was the variety of performances that Y Theatre hosts. From drama to comedy, there’s typically something for everyone. It’s also great to see local talent showcased alongside more established acts. Prices for tickets were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the shows. The location is central, making it easy to grab a meal or drink nearby before or after the show. Overall, my visit to the Y Theatre was very positive. I would definitely recommend checking out their upcoming events if you're in the area; it’s a lovely spot that adds to Leicester's vibrant arts scene!

Cracking venue in the centre of Leicester. We saw the final tour of the legendary show of hands; this venue is just perfect. We sat in the circle and enjoyed an intimate and acoustically perfect set. The bar offers a good selection of beers and wine. It’s not too big, not too small just perfect.

Another great night at this lovely little theatre seeing legendary comedian Rich Hall. It's a very friendly venue, parking nearby, nice seats and good leg room , good acoustics. Easy to book shows online and they send a reminder out a couple of days before the show. Paperless booking , ticket on your smart phone available. Recommended.

We had a great night. We saw KERRY GODLIMAN .But we’ve learnt to book seats near the stairs if we go in the balcony again. As a disabled person we had a few tricky moments getting to our seats. Maybe it would help if the area around the door was reserved for people with disabilities. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. Also The toilet is downstairs. The atmosphere was excellent.

Great bit of Leicester's heritage,a real step back in time gem. small but great venue with good acoustics whether you are watching a comedy show or a band you won't be disappointed. Great views from the balcony.Bar on the ground floor as you walk in,can get busy.Just across from the railway station, city centre within walking distance several bus routes run past and lots of nearby car parking options.
