Since this Aldi store has been extended and refurbished, it is much more convenient with a lot more space to move around. The fridges and freezers are a lot more presentable behind glass doors. What I find most convenient is the self checkouts, so now you have the option of not having to queue for a few items. I like the option of being able to quickly pop in and out when necessary.

Not bad Aldi, plenty of products, big car park, also a customer toilet by the self service tills. Supermarkets with a loo always win!

Just a heads-up for anyone heading to this Aldi late on a Sunday — they close the doors at 15:45, so you won’t be able to get in after that. Totally understand the staff want to wrap it up and finish on time, but it might help to update the listed hours to reflect that, so people don’t rush down only to miss out by a few minutes. Most people at that time are probably just grabbing a couple of bits anyway. Other than that, this is a solid Aldi — well-stocked and usually a smooth shopping experience.

Very convenient location with the bus stop right outside, and the opening hours are generous. I find Aldi good value for money although I can't always find certain groceries I want because they just don't stock absolutely everything. Sometimes you can get an unexpected bargain from the middle aisle though which is a bonus. It's so much better now with the option of using a self service check out because you're not standing around waiting for a till to open. You can get through pretty quickly now if you know what you want, where it is and use the self service. I've dropped a star because like I said, they don't stock some things and I have to go elsewhere.

The choice of products wasn't as great or as fresh as the one on Western Avenue. Returned home to find our fridge lacking the stuff it usually has.

Great all-round shop. Good fresh food, tasty and very reasonable. Bargains in the weekly offers. Ground level, plenty of parking. Love this shop.

I prefer shopping at Aldi than M&S or Tesco. I find their fruit and vegetables are of better quality.

A spacious store and it wasn't too busy considering it was 3pm on 30th December. We didn't have to wait long at the checkout either.

Person on till was very rude. All I asked was if he could get a colleague to open till 3 just to serve an older couple, as the voice over the speaker said till 3 open and literally 2 secs later they said it was closing. The till operator came out with the light's green for god sake, by then the lady had come over to ask for a person to help repack their trolley and he turned on her!! I said that there was no need for that and he said to who ever oh m.g. she want to argue. So I didn't think twice I just turned and face to faced him and said if he wanted an argument to being it on. The people in the queue gave me a round of applause!!! SO EMBARRASSED.
