   Our old groomers refused to serve our Alaskan Malamute with hip dysplasia as they could not work on such a big dog with such sensitivity. After about a year and a half of home grooming, we finally decided to give another place a go. RiverDog staff from the very get-go were so wonderful with Duke and gave him the time and space to feel comfortable in the space and did a fantastic job on cleaning him up. Will definitely be going back from now on.

   I cannot say enough good things about Riverdog - they are the most popular grooming service in Richmond for a reason. Every time Pickle comes back looking (and smelling) amazing - and you know the team really care about the dogs they are looking after! They especially understand different breed styles - which as a Cavapoo owner is the different between a teddy cut or coming out looking like a skinny poodle!! Book well in advance as they are very booked up!!!

   We specifically asked for a two-inch hair trim for our Lhasa Apso. When we picked her up, she was almost fully trimmed. Their “justification” was that it would be best for our dog because her hair was tangled (tell me if it looks tangled in the picture below). Any professional establishment would have let us know before they arbitrarily decided to trim her. It just seems to us they did not want to do a proper/full job and now our dog needs to wear a jacket because it’s freezing! (that is why we asked for the two-inch cut in the first place!). On top of everything… they charged us extra!

   I can't recommend Saskia and the team at RiverDog highly enough. We started coming here a few months ago after our old groomer went downhill and we have been delighted with every groom our dog has had so far. They're super friendly and very calm, and we can tell that Parsnip enjoys the experience so much more than at her old place. So happy we found them!

   Excellent experience from start to finish. Staff were kind enough to book me in very quickly as a new customer. My little dog is a senior, 17 years of age with all kinds of health conditions. All of the staff made such an effort to listen while I took them through all of the info regarding this! Sasha was fantastic with Florence and made the whole process a pleasant one for her. All staff here are very warm, very welcoming and friendly, they really do care about what they do and they are all very professional. A lovely shop & business with top drawer service. We will definitely return again. Thanks guys!

   Absolutely gorgeous shop with such lovely groomers. I took my 1-year old Peanut the Corgi in for his first groom, and they were so accommodating. They took such great care of him, he didn't want to leave by the end of it! So pleased with this service and will definitely go again!

   We tried this place for the first time last week and so glad we did. The staff were so good and looked after Mollie very well. The groom was amazing and she looked lovely when we picked her up. They had to deal with matting on her tail and ears that we had struggled with and they handled it extremely well. Will definitely be back.

   Would highly recommend RiverDog Studio - took my 6 month old Scottish Terrier for his first full groom here and so happy with the experience. Basia and Saskia did an amazing job in making Hugo feel comfortable, were really professional and very accommodating of my requests. They even sent me a photo right after they started to reassure me Hugo was doing well!
