Had an amazing onboarding experience with Alex. He was very well-natured and enthusiastic about the club. Provided lots of information and tips for getting the best out of my membership. The club itself is very clean and modern, great equipment and facilities for all lifestyles/ages. I am confident I have made the right choice and look forward to getting started!

Fantastic experience at David’s Lloyds Clubs. The staff member (Markuss)was very welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. His positive attitude really stood out and made our visit even better. Great service all around! And i decided to join the membership. Highly recommended!

I visited the gym last week for a tour with Eloise and was genuinely impressed. As I was considering buying a gym membership as a Christmas treat for my husband and myself, Eloise was extremely helpful, friendly and patient throughout. She took the time to listen to my goals, answered all of my questions, and explained the membership options and pricing clearly, without any pressure at all. Thank you, Eloise! We’re really looking forward to starting our membership and making the most of everything this fantastic club has to offer. Highly recommended!

We recently joined David Lloyd, and from the very start, the experience has been wonderful. We were given a tour by Alex, who was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. My father and I were a little unsure about joining at first and we also had to convince my mother, but Alex went above and beyond to help us. He kindly gave us two tours and spoke to us on several occasions to make sure we had all the information we needed. Thanks to him, we felt confident we were making the right decision for our family. We haven’t yet had the chance to experience everything the club has to offer, but already it’s clear that David Lloyd is more than just a gym, it’s fantastic! We can’t wait to make the most of all the facilities and enjoy everything it has to offer. A special mention also goes to Donna at reception, who greeted us so warmly and was incredibly helpful in many different ways. Her kindness and professionalism really made a positive first impression and confirmed that the staff here are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Overall, a brilliant start to our David Lloyd journey thank you to Alex, Donna, and the whole team!

The gym’s sales manager, Rich, is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and ensures I understood all my options. I highly recommend. I had a fantastic experience with Rich, the sales manager at David Lloyd He listened to my goals, answered all my questions, and explained memberships and pricing clearly without pressure. Rich broke down my options helped and followed up to make sure I was set up smoothly. The level of professionalism, transparency, and genuine care for members stood out—it's clear they prioritize long-term success over quick sales. I was consistently impressed with Rich, the classes and facilities. What stood out Clear explanations of membership options and no hidden fees. Honest recommendations tailored to my goals. Responsive and supportive throughout the onboarding process. Recommendation just join and ask for Rich thanks for your help cheers

Been going here for a while now and must say love the environment, people are always friendly and the staff really helpful and always take the time to chat. Had a small issue with my membership spoke to Carey in management and he sorted it in no time and was really professional and friendly, which to be honest at my old gym managers would delegate to staff members more so than help themselves.

I have recently started using the facilities at this David Lloyd and am very satisfied with both the establishment as well as the staff. I would like to thank the exceptional kitchen staff, specifically Tina, for always working hard on my meals. It truly feels like a hidden luxury and I would definitely recommend it to my friends. Thank you so much!

I have visited many gyms in my time - but I have to say credit where credit is due, the staff from walking in could not have been any more helpful. The place was clean, tidy and organised - I was given some useful tips by the trainers as I was working out and enjoyed the classes that I attended plenty of energy and enthusiasm, it was a great atmosphere - definitely recommend to new members. Well done everyone - see you soon!

My case was resolved so I have changed my review. Thanks for finally resolving and ending my membership as I requested even though it was a stressful experience. I hope David Lloyd improves on handling clients better when they want to end there membership, trying to force people accounts to be active for them to keep paying is like practicing slavery!!! I believe there’s a room for improvement, kindly work on it.

Longer-term member you’ll be penalised, have your prices increased to support the club’s promotions such as 14 days for £14, makes the club very busy where you get a lot of the wrong type clientele, not all, who don’t actually care about the place and it’s the same faces on the same deal. The “come back and join get 2 months on us”, who is substituting this, the long-term members with rate increases. Its gets very busy when they do these offers which I am told doesn’t generate new members and I have on occasions gone home as I cannot get on kit. The actual club itself has potential although sadly the equipment in the gym despite being told is replaced ever 5 years isn’t so some is looking tired and not working correctly, pads worn, uneven movement or just long waits for something to be repaired. One of the sell points is that you get a multi-channel TV system you can watch while you train sadly again most don’t work. The club is unable to maintain cleanliness in the gym area with lots of the equipment covered in other users sweat. Even PT staff, who work for the club don’t even make their clients wipe it down after use showing you how far away, they are from getting it right. Often the cleaning products which I do use are not available. If you raise it’s the same stock answer, “am sorry to read this feedback, the team in club work hard to prevent this kind of feedback comments” The last refresh the locker doors were replaced but the jagged edges still snag your cloths, people leave rubbish behind in them including dirty tissues and even a nappy once. There is an issue with people leaving kit in lockers overnight in the prime locations, again despite a policy of they will cut the locks. Hairdryers often not working some missing for months. Generally, more so when the 14-day offer is on the changing rooms can be a total mess through lack of respect. The foul language can be pretty back sometimes and when you ask people to refrain you get abuse. There is a lot of dust around as items are cleaned up to and around rather than cleaned properly. Showers are often not working, leak everywhere, some have had shower heads missing for months, soap runs out and not topped up efficiently enough and no standards between what a wet area and a dry area, so often puddles around the lockers when you are trying to change. Toilets in the men’s changing rooms are use at your own peril, they are discussing and smelly, with urine everywhere I the one as you enter the pool. The pool area looks pleasant but in reality, the cleaning is a lifeguard taking water from the pool and swilling it over the sides where they sweep it back into the pool, not the lifeguard’s fault what they are told to do. The underside of the small pool has black mould type stuff under it. The sauna not hot which means people stay in for long periods, you can only fit 5 people in, a lot of the time you don’t get to use it. The steam room can be smelly, or you can be choked out, sore eyes by people putting copious levels of Olbas oil on the steam jet not to mention that some members think its good to poor cold water on the sensor so the heat burns rather than what a steam room should do. Last on this one try not to run your hands under the lip in the sauna or steam room as the sludgy sweaty stuff makes you feel a bit sick. The outdoor spa is pretty good, small but normally hot, the indoor one is cold and has a off cycle time of nearly 8 minutes. Fitted a new family changing area, which is a great idea but not practical. Its unisex, so you cannot fully shower as you need to move from here to the changing area to a cubicle. Not very well thought through, more cubicles with showers like the disabled would have been cheaper and better. Kids play area is very dirty, showed the staff the problem by using a tissue but 3 months on still the same. Slide broke so was removed still not replaced. The carpark and foot paths are very uneven, there is no enforcement of family parking spaces so if you bring kids you may have to navigate across the carpark.
