Great place to see a concert or show. The bar is small but well stocked and the staff were just lovely.

The venue itself is pretty good for its age but I wasn't overly impressed with the gender neutral toilet which was the closest available. The bar on the upper floor was small but the wait time was acceptable, bit pricey and sadly another venue gone down the cashless route so therefore it's not accessible to everyone anymore. The show itself was really enjoyable though and nice to see stars in a smaller venue (The Shires)

Went to the Ubunto African choir concert Tuesday night at Barry Memo Arts Centre. My mum and I had a great time. The African choir were amazing and put on a great show. Very talented people, who can sing, dance and are gifted musical instrument players. The Holton Road Primary School children were so good as well. It was such an uplifting performance. My mum and I recently went to a show at the Wales Millennium centre which cost us around Β£200, and I can honestly say that I had a better night here, and we only paid Β£17 in total for tickets at the Memo Arts Centre. Just goes to show that bigger isnβt always better! Really hope they come back again to Barry one day. And always remember: βKeep on dreaming; donβt you give up; skyβs the limit; spread your wings and fly!β βοΈ

We had a great time with the show we went to see. The staff were very helpful. The only complaint we had was that only the bar was open, yet many people were looking to buy coffee but the coffee bar was closed.

Seats were well spaced out plenty of room to walk down the Isles. Polite staff. Toilets could have done with a clean we were the first group in the building and the disabled toilet especially was quite dirty.

We went to see Tribute to the Carpenters. Very good show but the venue was really cold. Had to keep coats on. Even the band remarked how cold it was on stage

When I attended a concert at this venue, the level of noise was absolutely horrific. I was unable to spend more than 30 seconds inside before my teeth felt like they were going to fall out and my jaw hurt from the vibration of the music resonating between the walls and the floor. I am more sensitive than most to loud noises but this was beyond anything I have experienced before. I had an extremely intense panic attack from the overstimulation and was unable to even sit in the hallway outside the main room without intense pain. After we left we could still hear the music throughout the local area about half a mile away. Edit: After sending a complaint via email I received a full apology and explanation that an incorrect sound system was mistakenly used on this occasion. I am grateful for the promt and understanding response and hope this was a one-off issue.

What a fantastic evening. Went to see The Jerseys and they were amazing. A couple of months ago we went to London to watch The Jersey Boys, the show was much better watching The Jerseys. The Jerseys were absolutely amazing and really got the crowd on their feet, great music and story line. Well worth following these and going to see them.
