Great place for home related items. Helpful staff and the arranfmebt of items are very explicit and easy to find. Good price range with lots of varieties.. Lots of christmas decor in store.
Got to say, very very impressed with the Christmas decorations range in this store. Huge huge amount to choose from and well displayed. I've easily spent over 2 hours in store looking at all the Christmas decorations and the Halloween decorations. Staff have always been friendly, decent sized carpark outside too. 'Parent with baby' spaces outside but not a huge number of them (not the stores fault). Looking forward to my next visit!
Just been into store with my partner and two sons age 10 and 13. My sons were looking at things a few aisles over and then walked back to me as they came round the corner there was a staff member following them who very aggressively said to my sons “ you are not allowed in here on your own!” To which as I was standing next to them said to her they are not on their own they are with me! The woman then says very rudely children are not allowed on their own in here they have to be with someone at all times. I have never heard of this rule in any other shop and I never saw any sign outside or inside the shop to indicate such ridiculous rule! Even if that is the rule the way we were spoken to was rude and this woman certainly needs to work on her customer service skills! My children were not doing anything wrong and they said they had this woman follow them in the store! This experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth I feel like we have been treated like we had done something wrong for shopping as a family in your store! Perhaps better signage and awareness of your rules need to be considered and also better customer service training for your staff members. This experience has certainly put me off coming again! Do yourself a favour and spend your money elsewhere where you are treated with respect!
Well what an experience! If anyone needs to know why shops are closing, come and experience the delights of the staff at this store. We engaged with three staff members, two on the shop floor who couldn't be less interested in trying to help and actually sighed as though we were a massive inconvenience daring to speak to them. Things didn't get any better on Customer service the individual who "had been there 24 years" advised that The Range website was rubbish, the details are always wrong and I should always phone before coming into store (as you would do in 2025). She wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible, belittled the company she worked for and didn't want to help. She had no empathy and came up with no solutions. I think a training course in customer service and company values would benefit her or finding another job. Safe to say we won't visit again!
I'm a disabled pensioner using a mobility scooter. Very Very tight to negotiate all the aisles. Otherwise reasonable shopping experience.
Awful. No help. No trolleys. Customers are expected to carry 50 kilo furniture to the till without trolleys? Disgraceful service. Although there were definitely some good female workers that were kind.
To be fair the range has a wide range of all sorts of items. Great Xmas ideas at the moment. Great place to wonder around. Staff always very helpful and polite. On another note, car park and exit from estate on a weekend is a nightmare, but I suppose you expect that on weekends.
Love this store. Always a good selection and reasonable price. Whats even better is I hear the range is coming to my town !! Saves me a drive to Newport!! I recently ordered online some Halloween decorations. Some were unfortunately broken upon delivery . This was sorted out quickly and replacements sent.
