   We purchased a 55-inch TV from Argos, mounted it on the wall, and immediately realized it was far too small for our living room. The very next day, we returned it, in pristine condition, with all original packaging and accessories, carefully repacked. Despite this, we were told by both a staff member and the manager that the return was refused solely because we had removed the protective plastic film from the screen. That’s it. No damage, no missing parts, just the plastic sheet removed. Apparently, that’s enough to void your right to return. Just to be clear I wasn’t trying to run away with the money. I wanted to exchange it for a 65 inch model, from Argos. I was ready to spend more money with them. But their greed and inflexible policy won. They chose to cling to a petty technicality instead of supporting a genuine customer. This policy is not just unrealistic, it’s absurd. In an age where companies like Amazon offer hassle free returns and prioritize customer satisfaction, Argos clings to outdated, customer hostile rules that punish buyers for simply opening and inspecting their purchase. If you're shopping here, be warned. Unless you're 100% certain about the item, size, fit, everything, you're stuck with it. No flexibility, no understanding, no common sense.

   THIS PLACE IS JOKE DO NOT BUY OR COLLECT ANYTHING HEAVY IN PERSON! Bought a washing machine from here and had to collect in person as there wasn’t an option for delivery on the website, when getting there to collect the staff just slid the thing across the floor side to side dumping it infront of me without a trolley or anything I asked if they had a trolley or something to bring it to my vehicle and they said no so I had said how do u expect me to get that to my vehicle and they didn’t care at all just told me to grab a trolley from the front and put it on top of it, no help or assistance whatsoever the staff are lazy and rude absolutely useless, I told them to get me a trolley and they just ignored me and left me to it, had to get a trolley from the front and lift the washing machine onto it which wasn’t secure at all and had to wheel it all the way out the shop to my vehicle, what if this was an old women or a women or man on there own they would be screwed, Any other shop or company would bring the thing out for you right to your vehicle but these clowns were no help at all, will never buy anything from this Argos again all of the staff are useless and lazy didn’t have a clue what they were doing, service was disgusting u should be ashamed… clowns

   Went here to collect a washing machine, the bloke in the store room just pushed it out to the collection area and left it there. I asked have you got a trolley? The man said no, get one of the Sainsbury ones. What a joke, no assistance from the staff, how the hell would an elderly person or a single person be able to get this to their transport? Luckily my son was with me. Absolutely useless, and the bloke in the storeroom didn’t careless. Joke of a place. If you buy a heavy item here you need to employ Lou Ferrigno to help you to carry it, because the men in stores are useless and lazy.

   Purchased a 50 inch tv and took it back within 2 hours because the screen was broken and back was scratched. The Manager Daniella refused to give me a refund or exchange and accused me of swapping the TV they had supplied with the same broken model. Do not buy from this shop unless you want to be scammed.

   I purchased an I.T luggage soft suitcase a few weeks ago, after 2 flights the handle tabs for the zip had gone missing making it awkward to open and close, surely a poor design or manufacturing fault, Beverley I believe to be the evening manager thought she was either columbo or a psychic as she decided that it wasn't a manufacturing fault and it must have been the baggage handlers fault and they must have lifted the case fully loaded from one of the zip tabs. After several minutes of her trying to pull the wool over my eyes she finally decided I could have a replacement, then it wasntt in stock apparently even though the website states it did and I would have to take the faulty case home and follow the same process again when it's back in stock. Eventually I managed to get a refund but with more attitude as she was suggesting as I had it cheaper because of my nectar card I should have been happy with broken goods. All the other staff in this Argos have been great in the past but this experience was less than satisfactory. Beverley, I'm sure Argos have internal courses to improve customer service and satisfaction, I suggest you enroll one one of these.

   Online it said same day collection once bought maybe the next !!! What a sham Argos anyway you lost the sale and we did get same day service at Curry’s and only spent £700. Be aware of this on collection probably in the small print SOMEWHERE !!!

   I went there other afternoon cos it says closes at 9.30pm got ther at 9.05pm and it was closed.staff said it says on line it closes at 9pm.??? No 9.30pm it showing me??
