Great service from Llandaff Laminates. It's when issues arise that you can tell the substance of a company's customer service. Llandaff laminates really came through for me in a gracious and timely manner. (Thanks Liz) Would highly recommend.

Great selection of worktops on display. The staff are very friendly and not at all pushy. They also have a small selection of very nice sinks and taps. The prices are very competitive so well worth a visit especially if you need a 4m worktop for your project. A delivery service is also available for a small fee

Appalling service – damaged goods and put up or shut up attitude to quality!! Would definitely not recommend. I was appalled by the poor service standards, the company’s attitude towards quality and their view that delivery of damaged goods was OK. I ordered £650 of new kitchen tops from Llandaff Laminates, paid for delivery and one turned up with gouges down to the chipboard. My fitter said that it's not the first time he's had it happen with Llandaff Laminates deliveries. I complained immediately, sent photos and they sent out a sales representative to look at them. He said that as the gouges would be out of sight when fitted the worktop was fine, was not really damaged, and that this was considered acceptable in the ‘kitchen industry’. I didn’t agree that paying almost £200 for something with gouges in was acceptable. He said he’d take away all the boards and refund my money but refused to replace just the damaged board or offer a price reduction. My fitter had already cut the undamaged boards, I’d have had to pay him an extra day and put up with a half finished kitchen while I ordered tops from somewhere else! Llandaff Laminates’ attitude was put up with it or have them all taken away (not replaced) ie put up or shut up! I’d gone to Llandaff Laminates - who are expensive - expecting quality and good service. I had neither. Extremely disappointed to find that they believe delivering damaged goods is fine if damage can’t be easily seen. They also charge for delivery but expect their customers to unload heavy items themselves as they only provide a driver. All I had asked for was a refund of the delivery charge (£25 of a £650 order) to reflect the poor quality delivery service. Would definitely not recommend them and neither would my fitter.
