Visited here because that was the only option. Horrible. What kind of attitude by the staff. They remind me all the time that I came from a different country and these services are not for everyone. Please come early, the parking is nightmare and it’s hard to find out where the exact clinic is located. Don’t expect much help.

I visited the sexual health clinic and it was great. From the minute I stepped into the hospital ALL staff were extremely friendly and helpful. By the time I left I remember thinking I should come more often for screenings. Thank you :)

I went here several years ago to their physio department in complete desperation as I had been diagnosed in the Netherlands with arthritis in my hip and knee. I went here to get a meeting with an orthopedic. I was checked by "Dean" he made me do some basic tests with which I struggled but yes sort of performed them as in general I have always been quite fit. After the test he somehow concluded that I actually didn't have arthritis and that I could just do whatever (when I clearly could not) This when I was already in pain (and now this has gotten much worse) and couldnt comfortably stand on my legs. I had a follow up appointment by phone for which I had to beg almost, but they never called on the agreed hour. I saw my life falling apart and they couldn't care less. I had been in touch with the same department also during the Covid. They just see you as a number that they want to get out of the door, their approach is inhuman and I don't say this lightly. Every other physiotherapist or specialist (because yes I am close to surgery or probably should have had it already) I went to before and after took me serious and observed/understood this was real and tried to help me at least. I actually worked for the NHS (and they knew this), I can't believe this how they treated a colleague. I'll never forget.

Good afternoon, I took my son to the Royal Infirmary due to a severe ear infection, as his pain was unbearable and we didn't sleep all night. Upon arriving, I found the parking lot completely full. I had no choice but to leave the car briefly and run to reception to ask for directions, as I was unable to confirm my appointment on the screen. At reception, I spoke to a staff member who informed me that he couldn’t help because he was from security. He told me to wait for someone else to assist me. After five minutes, another staff member arrived but directed me to the wrong department, wasting even more time. The entire hospital seemed chaotic, with ongoing repairs and no clear signage. No one appeared to know where anything was.I had to find my way on my own, asking several staff members from different offices, but none of them could provide accurate directions. After 30 frustrating minutes, I finally located the Outpatients Department. When I returned to my car, the same security officer, who had previously told me he didn’t know anything, had taken a picture of myself and my vehicle and informed me that I would receive a fine because someone had been 'waiting for me for 10 minutes'. I explained that if someone had been available at reception to help immediately and if I had been given the correct directions in the first place, I would not have had to leave my car for so long. This entire experience was a nightmare! I am extremely disappointed with how people are treated at this hospital. Shouldn’t security personnel be there to assist and guide people, rather than penalise them for circumstances beyond their control?

Cannot complain. Walked in and given East directions. Found the x rays location easily and was in and out. Everything is clearly marked. I opted to wear a face mask as last time I was in Prince Charles for something, I caught covid. There is a lot of history and staff, past and present, on the wall. Naturally you look for someone donning your own last name but I didn't see one. No one else was wearing a mask but I'm not complaining. All in all, an easy, painless visit.

I had to go on Christmas Day to out of hours. The dr I saw was really nice. He was so helpful and very compassionate. The nicest dr I have seen in such a long time, he even had the medication I needed there to issue straight away. (Because the pharmacy was closed) I am so thankful that they were able to help me and see me that day as I was really unwell.

Very efficient out-of-hours GP service but you will need a booked appointment via NHS 111. It is not a walk-in service.

Always awful experience with this clinic! They ask you to call at 8:30 if you want to make an appointment but they never answer the phone that time which make it impossible to make an appointment by phone! Today I took a day off work and took my daughter off nursery just to be told that my appointment was cancelled without even a notice . and the receptionist was lying first she said we sent you a letter to inform you I said I havent received any letter and after that she said the nurse was unwell! just any excuse to justify their bad service but not a single apology..So negligent and rude !

Great to have an out of hours service. But to sit and watch people get seen before you when you feel so bad and have to wait over an hour for appointment I can not help but feel the system could be improved. I do understand that people are seen based on priority. But if it's that bad why aren't they down A and E. Would be good to keep the appointment times in my opinion. I could have been at home resting for the time I had to wait.
