Unfortunately I have been in St.Davids Hospital for about 2 months now and and found the staff to be excellent also food is pretty good too.
I found all the staff pleasant and helpful. There was plenty of parking, beware to register your vehicle on arrival as there's a penalty for failing to comply.
First of all at reception communication barrier on where the dental department was. On arrival I found staff quite rude and not particularly helpful.
Had to see emergency dentist today with very severe toothache. The dental nurse who made the appointment (when I phoned the emergency line) was knowledgeable and empathetic. The receptionist, the dentist and the dental nurse in the dental hospital were really nice and efficient and explained everything well. Both the dentist and the dental nurse even phoned me a few hours later to see how I was. Can not get a better service. Thank you lots.
A marvellous little hospital. All the staff I encountered were lovely. My specialist consultation went really well and I was thoroughly satisfied. My only concern is my appointment overran (I can inadvertently derail any meeting because I’m “a bit chatty”) Apparently the parking is limited to two hours and the parking enforcement company fine quickly and often. But the lovely administrator sent them an email saying why I overstayed. I guess now we wait and see. EDIT: The parking enforcement company extended my stay, so no fine, and I’ve updated the review to 5 stars.
I have Dentist phobia, but I have just received the best treatment from an amazingly patient, kind, professional and skilled dentist at St David’s Community dental practice. For those who knock the NHS -from calling CAVUB for emergency appointment and having my tooth extracted, took less than 4 hours, fantastic service, thank you.
I visited St. David’s hospital last week for a checkup. I was amazed at the way I was treated, the staff were so professional, caring and so lovely. I was there for nearly four hours, but it was so peaceful, and relaxing. The doctors and nurses are 5 star. Thank you.
Was not warned about the Parking Eye they have there. Parked my car in what I thought was a patients car park. They said the signs were there but I could not see any signs. First visit to this place, no directions from the road, so I drove past the place, and eventually arrived there and parked my car. Next thing I know a letter from Parking Eye fine for £70. this is diabolical for a hospital. Why do they do this to patients. No warning from the hospital before I arrived ,nothing. Fuming.
