   Very disappointed with our stay here. Whilst our room was okay, the bathroom was very small and we had to dash about under the shower to catch the drips from a very low pressure hot water system. Our dinner on our arrival was excellent quality but vastly overpriced, for example £26 for fish and chips. However our breakfast was easily the worst we have experienced in an hotel. The full English had clearly been prepared sometime before we arrived and had been kept warm. No cereal to start and half a glass of orange juice. The tea was a tea bag served in a cup with no offer of a top up. One piece of toast each served from the kitchen with a scraping of butter on each and no jam or marmalade and when we asked for more were told that was all they had, all for £14.95!

   Have just returned from a fantastic weekend staying here. Rooms are beautiful and big. Very clean and the beds are huge. Food is second to none, service excellent. Seating outside is so pretty. Staff are very efficient and nothing is too much trouble. All in all, a wonderful stay. Highly recommend.

   We had a beautiful celebration lunch. The atmosphere is very chilled and on a hot day it was lovely and cool inside. The waitress was excellent and very quick to respond. We all had the two course menu and all of the dishes were extremely tasty. My favourite was the English strawberries, which were delicious. Will definitely be back and highly recommend!

   We booked for Mothers Day and the food was 5*, every dish was delicious and the variety of food on offer was the perfect balance. Brilliant service, very friendly and the restaurant itself has had a beautiful renovation.

   Excellent meal on a Saturday night. We dined with friends, and had a superb experience, food was delicious, very nicely presented, service was friendly and we had a super evening. Looking forward to returning in the near future. It’s brilliant to have a great restaurant within walking distance of Mallory Meadows.

   We dined in this evening. The food was fantastic. The staff were lovely. The drinks were a tad on the pricey side, but overall this was a lovely evening in a newly refurbed and modern environment. Highly recommend visiting here. We will be returning for another meal and drinks soon.
